National Testing Agency releases the NEET answer key via online mode only. Candidates can thus only check it by visiting the NTA Website. In addition, it is released in PDF format and thus candidates can easily download it. Further, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to easily download the solution key. The steps to download the answer key are as follows:
- Visit the official website of NTA NEET – www.ntaneet.nic.in
- On the homepage, login by entering the application number and password.
- Then the link to download the “NEET Answer Key” appears on the screen.
- Click on the given link and download it.
The exam conducting body releases the answer key set-wise. It is done to ensure that the students do not face any difficulty in cross-checking the responses.
How to Challenge NTA NEET Solution Key 2021?
NTA releases the provisional National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Answer Key as per the schedule on the official website. If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the solution key, then the same can be reported. The students have the right to challenge the released solution key. However, a student has to submit a sum of Rs. 1000 for each answer to be challenged. This amount is non-refundable. Further, the final solution key is released after this. If any changes would be there, then the same shall reflect in the final solution key. Furthermore, students can follow the below-mentioned steps to challenge the NEET Solution Key.
- Visit the official website of NTA and click on the candidate login section.
- Then enter the application number and password to login successfully.
- Further, on the left-hand side, click on the “Apply for Key Challenge”

- Click on the submit button. All the answers you have challenged are displayed on the screen. Candidates should then cross-check and click on the submit button again.
- Moreover, students are then redirected to the payment section. Wherein, students need to pay the amount either through Credit Card/ Debit Card. Do not forget to take a printout of the payment receipt.
Therefore, in this way, the students can challenge the answer key. Note that this facility is provided for a limited period of time. Hence, ensure that you apply and submit the fee on time. The requests for challenging the solution key after the given date are not entertained.
How to Calculate NEET Score?
The main purpose of the officials to release the solution key and question paper is to allow students to calculate a rough score. It helps the candidates in predicting their chances of clearing the exam. Furthermore, to calculate your NEET Score, you need to be aware of a few things, which are as follows:
- Total Marks: 720
- No. of Questions: 180
- For Each Correct Answer: +4
- For Each Incorrect Answer: -1
Then you need to refer to the answer key and check how many questions you have answered correctly. In addition, multiply the no. of correct answers by 4. Then for each incorrect answer, deduct 1 mark. In this way, you can calculate the final score. - Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 for each response challenge. Moreover, note that this amount is non-refundable. The students can make the payment through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
