NATA Counselling 2025: The Council of Architecture conducts the NATA exam but it does not take counselling into account. NATA counselling takes place by the participating institutes. As per the rank of the candidates, called for the counselling process. NATA B.Arch counselling takes place in a different session by the institution. In order to participate the candidates have to meet the aggregate and also component-wise minimum marks determined for the exam. More than 300 institutes in India provide B.Arch courses to students. All the participating institutes hold the counselling as per their schedule based on the NATA score. The participating candidates have to visit the institutes for the counselling process.

NATA Counselling Important Points 2025
- Council of Architecture does not conduct the NATA Counselling. It just takes the responsibility for the NATA exam.
- There is a separate counselling procedure by the participating institutes.
- In order to participate in the NATA counselling process, candidates have to clear the NATA exam and clear the NATA Cut off.
- Each and every participating institutes have different sets of norms and mode and there may be a variation in their process.
- Though the NATA has set the eligibility criteria, participating institution is free to set its own criteria for admission into B, Arch courses.
- Based on NATA scores, there are 477 institutes that offer admission to their B.Arch courses
- Selected students have to collect the scorecard to participate in the counselling process.
- The total score of the candidate will be calculated by considering 50% marks from the State Board/ any other qualifying examination with Mathematics as one subject and 50% marks obtained in the NATA 2025
- The candidate must carry Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets separately along with the printout of the NATA 2025 scorecard to the Institute for admission to the architecture program.
- The NATA 2025 Score Card is considered valid only if the candidate scores a minimum of 25% marks i.e. 50/200 in NATA 2025.
