JEE Main Question Papers 2021: The question paper for the JEE Main April session will release soon after the exam. However, the NTA has released the response sheet for the March session. The National Testing Agency releases the JEE Main final answer key for Paper 1 & 2 for all the sessions. NTA also releases the response sheet which contains the questions and answers asked in the JEE Main 2021 exam. The question paper consists of 90 questions out of which candidates have to answer 75 questions. Among these, 20 questions are of the objective type and 5 questions are of numerical value-based. Each section consists of 25 questions. JEE Mains question paper is now available in 13 languages.

The exam question paper has 75 questions of 300 marks and the duration is 3 hours. There is a provision of negative marking according to which 1 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. JEE Main March 2021 Question Paper
The JEE Main March 2021 exam session is now over. The last exam was conducted on 18th Match 2021 in two shifts. The NTA has released the jee main response sheet for the March session. JEE Main Question Paper 2021 and Exam Pattern
A total of 90 questions are asked in the exam out of which candidates have to attempt 75 Questions or 20 questions out of 30 (for each section). In paper 2, there will be a separate exam for B.Arch & B.Planning. B. Arch will comprise objective questions for both Mathematics and Aptitude. However numerical questions for Mathematics will be there and questions from the drawing section will also be there. For B. Plan, questions will be asked from Mathematics and aptitude and there will be an extra section on Planning with multiple choice questions on the same.
From 2019, JEE Main (Joint Entrance Exam Main) is conducted by the NTA in online mode. It is a national level examination. This exam is conducted for admission to the B.Tech & B.Arch courses. JEE Main Syllabus
Candidates must know the syllabus of JEE Main 2021 as they start preparing for the examination. The syllabus topics will be from Physics, chemistry, and mathematics studied in the 11th and 12th standard of CBSE, ICSE, and other state boards. Detailed JEE main 2021 syllabus for both the Papers is given below:
JEE Main Syllabus Paper 1
- Mathematics – Sets, relations and functions, Matrices and determinants, Mathematical induction, Sequences and series, Integral calculus, Binomial theorem and its simple applications, Vector algebra, Statistics and probability, Trigonometry, Complex numbers and quadratic equations, Mathematical reasoning, Permutations and combinations, etc.
- Physics – Physics and measurement, Thermodynamics, Rotational motion, Laws of motion, Electronic devices, Oscillations and waves, Current electricity, Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, Optics, Electrostatics, Kinematics, Work, energy and power, Gravitation, Properties of solids and liquids, Kinetic theory of gases, etc.
- Chemistry – Physical Chemistry: Some basic concepts in chemistry, Atomic structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Chemical kinetics, States of matter, Chemical bonding and molecular structure, etc.
Organic Chemistry: Purification and characterization of organic compounds, Chemistry in everyday life, Organic compounds containing halogens, Organic compounds containing nitrogen, Some basic principles of organic chemistry, etc.
Inorganic Chemistry: Classification of elements and periodicity in properties, Block elements (alkali and alkaline earth metals), D – and f – block elements, Environmental chemistry, Hydrogen, Block elements group 13 to group 18 elements, etc.
JEE Main Exam Pattern
- Papers – JEE Main will have 2 papers: paper 1 and paper 2.
- Mode – Paper 1 and 2 will be conducted in only computer-based mode. Paper 2 drawing tests will be conducted in offline pen and paper-based mode.
- Duration – JEE Main 2021 will be held for a duration of 3 hours.
- NTA has revised the exam pattern. A total of 90 questions are asked in the exam out of which candidates have to attempt 75 Questions or 20 questions out of 30 (for each section).
- Types of Questions – There will be only objective type questions in paper 1. In paper 2, Mathematics and aptitude section will have objective type questions and drawing tests will have a subjective type of questions.
- Number of Questions – Paper 1 will have 90 questions in total with 30 in each. Paper 2 will have 82 questions in total, 30 from mathematics, 50 from the aptitude test, and 2 questions of drawing test.
- Language – The language of the question paper is available in the English language along with 13 regional languages.
- Marking scheme – 4 marks will be rewarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Check JEE Main Exam Pattern
