Registration will tentatively start from April and last up May 2020. The exam will take place in June 2020 and the result will come out most probably in August 2020. Haryana LEET Admission 2020
Haryana LEET 2020 is all set to welcome the new set of the students to pursue undergraduate engineering programs. The admission process is online where candidates have to go through the entrance exam. The result will be out on the basis of the entrance exam. On the basis of the entrance exam, the conducting body will select the students. They prefer the English language for the exam. The process of admission will starts tentatively in April 2020.
Haryana LEET Important Dates 2020
The exam conducting body has released the dates regarding the lateral entry into the engineering colleges of the state. Dates provided by the body are tentative. Hence candidates can keep the dates just for general information. For accurate information, candidates need to visit the site on a regular basis. This is crucial so that no eligible candidate misses the chance.

All the above are the tentative dates. Changes are likely to happen. There may be dates that are optional or additional. This is because there is no official announcement by the University regarding the admission procedure for session 2020-21.
Haryana LEET Eligibility 2020
Before applying for Haryana LEET 2019, candidates are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. Failing to have the eligibility asked by the conducting body leads to the rejection of the form. The eligibility needs in order to apply for 2nd year ( 3rd semester) of B.E/B.Tech. Courses are:
Must have completed 3 yr. Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with 45% aggregate(40% for reserved category)from Haryana State Board of Technical Education or it’s equivalent
Must have a B.Sc degree from Recognized University with 45% aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). It’s compulsory to pass XII with mathematics as a subject provided that they shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second Year subjects.
Note: Special preference is given to the Kashmiri Migrant as relaxation in cut-off percentage is given up to 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirements.
Haryana LEET Application Form 2020
Haryana LEET application form will be available online on the site of the conducting body ( Haryana State Technical Education Society). Eligible candidates must visit the site and fill the application form. Candidates need to register themselves before filling the application form. The form will tentatively be available online from April to May 2020. These are the tentative dates in which candidates have to register themselves. They are asked to fill the form within the time allotted by the university. The application form basically consists of personal and educational information. While filing the information, candidates should be an attentive mind. Fill the details correctly which is mentioned in the documents. This is very crucial at the time of verification.
The application process will not proceed if the fee is not paid. So application fees have to be submitted by the candidates regarding the exam. The charges differ as per the category wise.
- Entrance Test Fee/: For General Category Rs.500/-
- For all Reserved Categories of Haryana Rs.200/- (SC/BC/PH/FF/ESM/KM/GIRLS/EWS) Counseling Fee: For All Categories Rs.500/- (Rs. Five hundred only)
Note: The entrance exam fee is non-refundable.
Important things to be remembered while filling the application form are
- Candidates must have a valid email id and mobile no.
- Whatever information is asked must have an officially verified statement.
- Have scanned copies of the documents and photographs.
- Those who belong to the reserved category must have the community certificate duly signed by the concerned state authority.
Haryana LEET Exam Pattern 2020
Haryana LEET conducts the exam every year for the selection of students in respective departments. The exam pattern of the exam consists of the basic sciences, Electronics Stream Courses and Mechanical Stream Courses, Other Engineering Streams. The Test would have 90 objective types multiple choice of questions. Four sections of the paper are:

Haryana LEET Syllabus 2020
In order to prepare for the exam, the syllabus plays an important role. To know the full information regarding the syllabus one must look into the prospectus. The prospectus is available at the site of http://www.hstes.org.in. However, a glimpse of the syllabus as per the subject is below. Look at the table carefully to get an idea about which sections have to cover in order to prepare for the exam. 90 minutes paper is divided into 4 parts thus check carefully. Haryana LEET Admit Card 2020
It will release the admit card after the application process end. Conducting body will tentatively announce the availability of admit card in May 2020. Candidates can download from the official website of the Haryana State Technical Education Society. Since it is available online thus one should seek to receive it through post or courier.
Haryana LEET Result 2020
Haryana LEET will declare the result on its official website i.e http://www.hstes.org.in. Thus conducting body will announce the result tentatively in the month of August 2020. Students are informed earlier that no re-valuation / checking will be done. Whatever the result is represented, is the final one. This request will not be granted further. Since it is available online thus no students wait to receive it personally through the post. This is the most awaited thing in the line of getting admission. Result gives an idea of whether they are eligible for getting into college or not.
Merit list 2020
On the basis of the result, a merit list of the students is prepared. Merit list is prepared by the Haryana State Technical Education Society. Thus entrance marks and the performance highly matter in the merit list. While preparing the list, the category section is considered. This is because seats are reserved for the Kashmiri migrants as well as reserved categories of the state.
If someone has a tiebreaking then the following things are there:
- Mathematics marks taken into consideration.
- If the tie is still valid then Physics marks, and if again it happens then higher marks in the entrance exam is taken.
- Suppose tie lies at that point of time then date of birth i.e seniority will be considered.
- Lastly, if a tie still persists then all of them will get equal rank and as per the availability of the seat admission will be taken. But this kind of thing rarely happens.
Conducting the body prepares the merit list on the basis of the performance of the students. Basically, they give seats to the rank holders who have clear the exam and have the rank. They call the candidates who are eligible for online off-campus counseling for the session. Detailed information should be known by the candidate prior to the counseling session. The counseling fee has to be submitted before proceeding to the counseling session. If someone fails to do this then their seat will be canceled. Fee charge for counseling is the same for every category.
The seats in B.E./B.Tech Courses in all Government/Private Technical Institutional/State Universities shall be filled against 15% Rest of Haryana Quota (excluding Haryana State) up to 2nd Online Counseling. After 2nd Online Counseling, all the vacant seats under this Rest of Haryana Category (RoHC) is made General Category to all the candidates including Haryana in subsequent online counseling. Four online counseling will be conducted for admission to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) course for all the seats of Universities Deptt., Govt. / Govt. Aided and 75% seats of Self Financing Institutes. Candidates who will register are allowed to take participation in the counseling process.
