GATE, the National level Examination is conducted on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February 2019. The Indian Institute of Technology at Madras, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Bombay, and IISc Bangalore will jointly conduct the Examination. The Examination is usually held in 199 cities of India and 6 cities Abroad. The opening date for the Application Forms was from 2018 and the closing date for the filling up the forms was 21st September 2018. The successfully registered candidates will get their Hall Tickets in the month of January 2019.

The Examination for GATE 2019 will be computer based. It can be given in the online process only. The candidates must have the basic computer knowledge to appear for the examination. There is no provision for any candidate to take their examination offline.
The candidates should take all the necessary documents with them when they appear for the examination such as their Hall Tickets and Identity Proofs. The International candidates should carry a valid Passport or any Government issued ID with them. If any candidate fails to produce their Admit Card on the day of their Examination to the Examination Authorities, they would be terminated and will not be allowed to sit in the Examination.

GATE 2019 Answer Key
The GATE 2019 Answer Keys are usually released after a couple of days after the examination. This helps the candidates to get an overview of their performance and they get a rough idea on how much they are going to score in the examination. The GATE 2019 Answer Keys will Contain the correct answers to the questions asked in the Examination. The answers will differ with candidates with different disciplines. Hence, the candidates should check the appropriate answer keys related to their Disciplines. Once a candidate verifies their Answers with the officially released keys and calculates their scores in the examination they get an estimation of their marks. The GATE Aspirants can also download the Answer Keys paper wise and session wise. They can keep a print out of it if they want to match their estimation with the original one.

Procedure to check the GATE 2019 Answer Key Sheet
- Candidates need to log in to the Gate On line Application Processing System (GOAPS) by entering their Enrollment ID and the Password which was sent during the time of Registration
- Click on the “View Response Button”
- The response to the questions asked and the PDF form Of GATE 2019 will be displayed.
- Click on the link given on the website.
- The candidates should download the appropriate answer keys to their related Discipline.
- Download the Answer Keys and take a print out of it.
To calculate the marks the candidates have scored, they have to add the total score of correct answers and deduct the marks lost due to the incorrect choice due to negative marking. As there will be no negative marking in the in the Numerical answer type, the candidates can count the whole ,marks obtained in the numerical section.
GOAPS SCORE= Marks obtained for MCQs + Marks obtained for NATs.
Candidates who have appeared for the Examination of GATE 2019 can check the results on the Official Website of GATE or GOAPS. The candidates should have all the required details with them to check the result. The candidates can also match their score with the answer key. If in case the candidates have any doubt regarding the result. The candidates have the authority to recheck the papers for their contentment.

The candidates need to Log into GOAPs the official websites for GATE 2019.The candidates should read the guidelines given very carefully. If the candidates agree to the declaration stating that guidelines for the contest of the GATE Answer Key the candidates should go for the further proceedings. The candidates then have to Click on the “Contest Answer Key” button to be able to pay and mail their objections. Further the candidates have to Pay Rs 500 online for every question to be challenged through the online portal provided. The International students have to pay 10 Dollar for every Question. The candidates should put the justification to the challenge.
