The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is conducted on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education by the Osmania University, Hyderabad. The TSCHE has an objective behind conducting the Examination and it is to identify the deserving and meritorious candidates at the state level. Candidates who wish to seek their existence in the fields of Engineering, Technology or Architecture should opt for these courses. The Application process for the Examination will be held online and candidates should fill up up their form to avoid late submission fee. The late submission fee varies with time. The more time taken by the candidates will have to pay more fee. The Hall Ticket will be available on the official website of TS PGECET. Candidates should know that the Hall ticket or the call letter will not be sent by the Authorities to the candidates by post to their Address or by E-mail. The Examination date is already announced by the Authorities. The Examination will be started from 28 May to 31 May 2018.
The examination will be held in the online mode. The Candidates are expected to have computer knowledge. For positive results in the Examination, candidates should follow the syllabus which is released in the official website. The Osmania University will also conduct a mock test for the candidates. Appearing for the mock test, the candidates will get a rough idea on the examination. The more a student practice Mock test, the more efficient they become in time management and problem-solving. The Examination Authorities also releases sample papers for the candidates to practice.
Osmania University also releases Answer Keys after the examination. The Answer keys can be only generated by candidates in the online portal. This year the TS PGECET answer keys will be released by the month of June tentatively. It is generally generated after few days of Examination. The candidates can download the Answer keys with the question paper for their assistance. The Examination Authorities also release the response sheet of the candidates. This helps the candidate and they can compare the answers they have chosen in the examination and the Answer Keys. With the examination of the response sheet and the Answer keys, the candidate will be able to calculate their scores. They can also estimate the would be rank in the TS PGECET merit list for admissions in the participating Institutes.

Candidates who want to apply or have already applied for the TS PGECET should keep on following the notifications and updates related to the examination. Procedure to Download the TS PGECET Answer Key
The TS PGECET Answer Key will be released by the first week of June and candidates can start downloading them. Candidates first download their response sheet in order to compare the response given by them with the Answer Keys. The procedure the candidate will have to follow are given below:
- Visit the official Website of the TS PGECET 2018 as it will be only available in the online mode only.
- There will be a link which will be provided by the Examination Authorities on the Official website, candidates need to click on the link.
- Candidates need to choose their subject they have appeared for in the Examination.
- The Answer key sheet will be opened. It will be in the PDF format. Candidates can check the answers online.
- Once the page is opened, candidates can download the PDF file and can take out a print copy of it.
Calculating Answers with TS PGECET Answer Key
The candidates can calculate the scores before the result is out with the Answer keys. The candidates should know that the answer keys will be different for the different disciplines and different streams. The candidates need to verify their answers with the keys released. They have to follow the same marking pattern that the Authorities will follow while the correction of the papers. The candidates can subtract the marks they have scored from the total marks i.e 120 and get their final marks score. There will be no negative marking so there will be no deduction for wrong answers.
Filing Objections in the TS PGECET Answer Keys
If in case the candidates are dissatisfied with the answers and they think they have any objections regarding the answer keys, they can file objections to that. They can challenge the preliminary Answer keys of TS PGECET Examination if they want to but the Authorities will only accept the objection with a justification. The candidate has to send some details to the Authorities along with proof to justify the location. The candidates have to send a mail to the Authorities where they also mention their Examination Code.
Using the official format candidates can mail the convener by the last date of filing objections. It is mandatory to mention the test code in the subject line of the mail.
