Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an entrance examination conducted and organized by the ten central universities jointly. This year i.e 2018, the Central University of Rajasthan was responsible to conduct the CUCET Exam. This entrance examination is a gateway for the students to want to get enrolled for various Under Graduate /Integrated Programme, Post Graduate and Research Programme in the ten Central Universities. The official admission authority of CUCET 2018 had released the official answer key of CUCET 2018 on 30th April 2018. Candidate need to login by entering the valid “Application ID” and “Date of Birth” to access the official answer key of CUCET 2018. The official examination authority of CUCET has released the notification of CUCET for the 2018-19 session. Interested candidates had to fill up the application form online from 19 February to 26th March 2018 by visiting the official website.

Counselling of CUCET 2018
CUCET 2018 Counselling was scheduled from the 2nd June – 7th June 2018. Each of the participating universities will conduct the counselling round separately. Candidates will be called for counselling as per their rank in the merit list. Candidates need to attend the counselling session of the university that he/she applied for admission and seats will be only confirmed after the document verification. The seat have been allotted to the candidates as per their rank, choice of course and seat availability.
Result of CUCET 2018
The result of CUCET 2018 had been declared by the official authority after the examination is conducted. Candidates could view and download the CUCET result for the year 2018 online on 25th May 2018. The result will contain the overall and subject-wise marks obtained in the entrance examination
Answer Key for CUCET 2018
Candidates who appeared in CUCET 2018 examination can check and tally their answer with the answer key. The official authority will release the answer key of CUCET 2018 for all the programmes separately. Candidates could access the answer Key online by visiting the official website by clickling on the link below. Applicants can analyze their score with the help of answer key. in case of non-satisfaction with the answer key released by the official authority, any applicants could raise objections before 2nd May 2018.
Admit Card for CUCET 2018
Admit Card or Hall Ticket had been made available only to the registered candidate for CUCET 2018 Examination. Candidates could view and download the CUCET 2018 Admit Card online from 13th April 2018 onwards. Candidates must carry their admit card to the examination hall. Admit card contains the details like examination date and time, address of the examination center, roll number and instruction to be followed on the examination day.

Eligibility Criteria for CUCET 2018
The eligibility criteria is different for all the Universities to get enrolled for a particular course. Apart from qualifying in the CUCET 2018 to get enrolled for available course in the participating universities, some of the common eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech, M. Tech and MBA courses for all the Universities is mentioned below. To now more about the Eligibility Criteria, refer to topic “List of Participating Universities” in this article.

Application Form of CUCET 2018
Students passed or appearing for 10+2 examination in the year 2018 was the main eligibility criteria to fill up the CUCET 2018 application form. Apart from this, there are certain eligibility criteria for different courses. Candidates are advised to read the “List of participating University” and “Eligibility Criteria” section mentioned above in this article before filling up the application form.
Here is a step by step guide for filling up the application form:
Candidates can access the CUCET 2018 Application Form only via online mode through the official website.
- Visit the official website of CUCET 2018.
- Read the general instruction before going to fill up the form.
- Fill in all the required details such as personal, academic and communication address.
- Upload the scanned images of recent photograph and signature as per the specification.
- Pay the application fee via online or offline mode.
- Download and take the printout of the filled application form for future use.
Correction in Application Form
One time opportunity to make corrections in the application form had been made available from 3rd April till 4th April 2018. Applicants who had filled up the application form for CUCET 2018 could make correction afterwards. Candidates could make corrections/changes in some areas such as name, qualifying exam details, date of birth, university details in which candidate wants admission and course details for which candidate has applied etc within specified date and time. Candidates please note that they could not make any corrections other than above mentioned fields. So, fill the application form carefully.
Application Fee for CUCET 2018
- Aspirants can pay the application fee online by credit card or debit card. One can also pay the fee offline by downloading the challan and depositing the fee at any SBI bank branch.
- The Person with Disability (PwD) candidates are not required to paying any kind of application fee.

Exam Pattern of CUCET 2018
Exam pattern contains the information about the duration, mode and marking scheme of the examination. It plays an important role in the preparation for the examination. The exam pattern of CUCET 2018 is provided in the table below:-

Syllabus of CUCET 2018
Syllabus for various programmes is different for CUCET 2018 Examination. Since this entrance examination is for admissions into the various Under Graduate /Integrated Programme, Post Graduate and Research Programme in the ten Central Universities. Examination Center for CUCET 2018
Applicants need to choose one examination centre as per their choice from the available list while filling up the application form. CUCET 2018 will be held at 76 exam centers across all over India. In case, the number of candidates for a specific centre turns out to be less than 100, the exam centre may be cancelled. The candidates who have chosen that centre would be allotted to another nearby exam centre city. Exam centre and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
Cut-off for CUCET 2018
The official examination authority prepares the cut-off or minimum qualifying marks for the CUCET. The cut-off marks will be declared after few days of result declaration. Candidates can check the cut-off for the CUCET 2018 by visiting the official website. Applicants need to secure equal or more than cut-off marks to be eligible for the subsequent rounds. Candidates are advised to tally their marks obtained in the exam with the cut-off mark for CUCET 2018.
Merit List of CUCET 2018
Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the CUCET 2018 Examination, merit list will be prepared by the official authority. Merit list contains names of the shortlisted candidates who are eligible for the counselling round. The candidates having the higher rank in the merit list will be called for first for the counselling. The merit list will be published on the official website after some days of the cut-off declaration. Candidates can check the merit list of CUCET 2018 on the official website of central universities.
