Delhi CETDelhi CET 2020: Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi is responsible for conducting the Common Entrance Test (CET) to shortlist the students for admission to diploma courses in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy, etc. It is a state-level polytechnic entrance exam held in New Delhi only. Students willing to take admission into the above-mentioned courses must register and qualify the test. The Application Form will subsequently be released in April 2020. The CET Delhi Exam 2020  will be held in offline (pen-paper test) mode and duration of the test are 2 hrs and 30 mins. Delhi CET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Before filling up the online Registration Form, Candidates must know the eligibility criteria set by the official authority. If the candidates do not fulfil the eligibility conditions, then they are not permitted to take the exam. CET Delhi 2020 Application Form

The registration form is released in an online mode in April 2020. Candidates have to click on the “Delhi CET Application Form” link to register for the test. The Applicant must check the “Eligibility Criteria” before doing the online registration.

Candidates need to pay the fixed application fee. Registration fees vary from category to category.

Delhi CET 2020 Admit Card For Diploma Courses

CET Delhi Admit Card: The registered candidates can download the admit card by logging onto the official website approximately one week before the date of the examination. The candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates.

Delhi CET Admit Card should be retained by the candidate as it would be required through the entire Delhi CET admission procedure. There shall be no issue of duplicate admit cards after the entrance test. The admit card shall bear the Roll no. and the examination centre details for the candidates. Please follow the instructions mentioned in the admit card before appearing for the exam.

CET Delhi 2020 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Exam pattern includes the subject combination, marking scheme, type of question etc. Every applicant must check the exam pattern & syllabus of the Delhi CET 2020. The syllabus contains the topics from which the question paper are prepared. Exam pattern varies from the test as there are a total of 5 different tests.

Delhi CET 2020 Result

The result of the Common Entrance Test will be displayed on the website by June 2020. Only the inter-se ranking of the qualifying candidates shall be declared in the results according to the score in the entrance test.

All the candidates scoring marks of 10% shall be considered qualified for the counselling procedure. In the case of ST/SC/OBC/PWD, the minimum qualifying marks is 5%. The candidates shall not receive any separate intimation from the controller of exams, CET Delhi 2020 regarding the results. CET Delhi 2020 Ranking And Merit List

The Merit List will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. Merit list contains the name and other details of the qualified candidates. The merit list can be checked and downloaded by the candidates. Merit list contains the name of the candidates rank-wise. There is a minimum qualifying mark that the candidate is required to obtain in order to grab a place in the merit list.

Delhi CET 2020 Counselling

Candidates whose name appear in the Merit List are eligible to attend the counselling. Admission of candidates will be based on the following factors.

  • Marks scored by the candidates in the exam
  • Availability of seats in a particular college
  • Choice of college by the applicants

All the qualified candidates in the CET Delhi 2020 may proceed for the CET Delhi counselling procedure. It must be noted that admission into any institution shall be based on the rank of the candidate in the entrance test and subjected to availability of seats. The counselling procedure shall happen online and the notification regarding the same shall be intimated on the website soon after the declaration of result.
