Assam CEE Tie-Breaker Situation
In case two candidates score the same rank, then the following conditions are applicable for breaking the tie.
- Candidates who score marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths will be given priority
- In case, tie still persists, then the combined marks of PCM & English will be considered and the candidate with more marks will secure a higher rank
- If the tie still exists, then the Chairman of the Selection Committee will draw lots to break the tie
Assam CEE Counselling 2024
The last and final stage of the admission process is counselling of CEE. Candidates, on the basis of their rank, are eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. ASTU will publish the counselling schedule after the release of the merit list. So, candidates can check the same on the official website. Every candidate must be present at the given date and time for counselling. Failing to report to the venue will lead to the rejection of the candidate’s admission.
