Schedule of Assam CEE 2020 Counselling
Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) is responsible for releasing the Assam CEE Counselling 2020 Schedule. Students must keep a track of all the events and their corresponding dates related to the counselling round. The table below shows some of the important dates.

Assam Combined Entrance Examination Counselling Process 2020
The counselling of Assam CEE 2020 is a stepwise procedure. The qualified students have to follow each of the steps so as to attend the complete procedure. Only those who will successfully finish the counselling round will be shortlisted for admission and provided a seat in the institute.

Step 1 – Reporting at the allotted Counselling Centre
The counselling will commence in the month of July 2020 in the offline mode. Thus, applicants have to report physically at the allotted counselling centres to take part in it. Candidates will be invited as per their category and merit.
Step 2 – Filling of Choices
The next step is to fill the choices of college and engineering branch. These choices are as per the preference of an individual. Moreover, aspirants have to fill the choices from the list of available colleges and B.Tech branches. Candidates must fill the choices in order of priority.
Step 3 – Allotment of Seats
Once all the students will finish the choice filling, ASTU as a next will allot seats to them. This allotment will depend upon various factors such as merit secured in the exam, choices filled and availability of seat in the participating institutes. On the other hand, if an individual will be absent at the time of Assam CEE Counselling 2020 due to any reason then they will not be allotted a seat. Rather, their seat will be given to another eligible aspirant. Consequently, their candidature will be cancelled for subsequent rounds of counselling.
Step 4 – Issuing of Seat Allotment Letter
The authority responsible for conducting the counselling will issue the final Seat Allotment Letter through an online medium. Applicants have to visit the official website of the university to obtain and download this letter. Additionally, they must take a printout of this letter as it will be needed at the time of document verification.
Step 5 – Payment of Counselling Fee
In this step, candidates need to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 600 in the college where the seat is allotted to them. This counselling fee will signify that an individual is satisfied with the seat allotment and hence accepts the allotted seat.
Step 6 – Verification of Documents
Candidates have to report at the allotted college for verification of their documents. For this, they have to carry all their relevant documents and need to produce them when the authority will ask to do so.

- Class 10th Mark sheet and Certificate
- Class 12th Mark sheet and Certificate
- Assam CEE Admit Card 2020
- Scorecard of Assam CEE 2020
- Assam CEE Application Number 2020
- Seat Allotment Letter
- Certificate of Permanent Resident
- Category Certificate (Only for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- Character certificate from the Head or Principal of the institution last attended by the candidate
- One copy of recent passport size photograph of the candidate
