Eligibility Criteria for AIPVT 2025
AIPVT Eligibility Criteria: Following are the main AIPVT 2025 eligibility criteria related to age, citizenship, qualifying examination, qualifying marks and subject combination.
Nationality
- Candidates should be Indian Nationals.
- The candidates from State of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course under 15% All India quota.
Age Criteria
- Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before the 31st December 2025. Further, maximum age should not exceed to 25 years on or before 31.12.2025.
- A relaxation of 5 years is given to the category candidates.
Qualifying Examination
- For General category: Candidate must have passed the class 12th with and qualify in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English (as a core course) with 50% aggregate marks from the recognized board.
- For SC/ST/PwD category, a relaxation of 5% is given dedicated for the admission.
- Lastly, the Candidates must have appeared in NEET exam 2025.
Seat Reservation of AIPVT 2025- AIPVT Eligibility Criteria
AIPVT Seat Reservation: As per the reservation policy of Government of India, a definite number of seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to categories other than general. Hence, the Students claiming reservation are required to produce valid supporting documents in the prescribed format at the time of counselling in order to avail the benefit of AIPVT 2025 reservation of seats. Hence, the reservation of seats for AIPVT for different categories is as follows.
Reservation Of Seats In Veterinary Colleges Under 15% All India Quota
The Seat Reservation is available on the basis of the category. Hence, the AIPVT Seat Reservation 2025 is as follows-

Documents Required for AIPVT 2025 Seat Reservation
The candidate should produce the following certificate in original, if applicable, at the allotted College at the time of reporting/admission. Thus, the list of the documents that are required at the time of the document verification.

Scheduled Caste(SC)/ Scheduled Tribe(ST) | Candidates who belong to the reserved category must produce their category certificate in English or Hindi. |
For OBC (Other Backward Class) | OBC Certificate as per format given in Annexure 3 (available in the official information brochure) should be issued by the Competent Authority and should be in English or Hindi. If it is in the regional language then it should be translated in English/Hindi and should be attested by Class I Gazetted Officer. Thus, The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy layer. |
For Physically Handicapped | The disability should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board comprising of at least three specialists out of which two should be of 9 the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him/her self before the Medical Board. Thus, the last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board should not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his/her certificate for disabled candidates. For Jammu and Kashmir candidates | The candidates from Jammu & Kashmir who have uploaded Self Declaration claiming their eligibility under 15% All India Quota shall have to submit an affidavit as per Annexure 5 (available in the official information brochure) on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by Metropolitan Magistrate/First Class Judicial Magistrate. |
