All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts nursing exam for (B.Sc Hons.) for admission to AIIMS institute itself. There are seven AIIMS institute in India. Aspirants who are willing to apply for the AIIMS Nursing B.Sc(Hons.) 2018 exam must fulfill all the eligibility conditions issued by the authority. If the candidates do not satisfy the eligibility conditions, then they will not be permitted to sit for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Nursing B.Sc(Hons.) 2018

NOTE 1: Candidate who are to appear in 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2018 and whose results are likely to be declared before 30th June 2018 are also eligible to apply.
NOTE 2: Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting result, can also apply for admission. But such candidates must furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks and subjects at the time of counselling failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals are admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi only. The eligibility criteria for foreign candidate will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidate. However, foreign nationals candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance examination. Their admission will be made on the basis of marks/grades secured by them in the qualifying examination(i.e 10+2). The foreign nationals candidates are also required to fill in the registration form prescribed by the Institute for this purpose. The registration from should be routed through Diplomatic Channel. Applications received directly will not be entertained.
For Overseas citizen of India (OCI) :- Eligible for admission to all seven AIIMS
OCI registered under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian nationals given in this prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate will submit proof of Registration as OCI under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 to be eligible to appear to this test.
Eligibility Criteria for Reserved Seat Of AIIMS Nursing B.Sc(Hons.) 2018
AIIMS reserve a definite number of seats in institutions affiliated with it. Candidates belonging to special categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc can avail the benefit of seat reservation. Candidate belonging to special category must ensure that they have appeared in the qualifying examination.
Candidates who want to claim seat reservation under the specified category are required to make such claim at the time of registering and filling up the application form for the AIIMS Nursing B.Sc(Hons.) 2018. The claim for reservation will, however, be considered only after the applicant produces the required certificates at the time of admission.
