Goa Polytechnic Admission 2025: The Directorate of Technical Education, Goa, is the official authority that conducts the Goa Polytechnic Admission. The admission to Goa Polytechnic is solely based on the DTE Goa Polytechnic merit list.

The Goa Polytechnic merit list is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam. The authority conducts no other exam for Goa Polytechnic admission. DTE Goa Diploma Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before they apply for admission in Goa Polytechnic. The candidates will be disqualified if found ineligible. Furthermore, we have provided information regarding the same. Check below.

Nationality

In order to take admission to Goa Polytechnic, the candidate must be an Indian National citizen.

Age

There are no age criteria in order to take admission to Goa Polytechnic.

Educational Qualification

In order to take admission to Goa Polytechnic, the candidate must have secured at least 35% in SSC or any equivalent exam.

DTE Goa Diploma Application Form 2025

In order to take admission to Goa Polytechnic, the candidates must primarily fill the application form. It will be available in the month of June 2025. In case the candidates wish to take admission in the first year of the Diploma course, then they will have to fill the “Form F”. However, if the candidates wish to apply for admission in various categories, then they will have to submit the ” DTE Goa Polytechnic Application Form“. They must do so in person at the notified center. There is no hard & fast rule when it comes to submitting multiple forms. However, the candidates must mention the number of application filled in the new application form. Moreover, the last submitted form will be considered the final application form of Goa Diploma Admission.

Subsequently, the candidates will have to fill up in the required information (personal, educational & residential). Therefore, they must make sure that they provide valid information. Since any invalid information may lead to Goa Polytechnic Admission cancellation. Furthermore, the candidates will have to upload certain documents. They must be in a specific format & size.

Documents Required For DTE Goa Polytechnic Application Form

Goa Polytechnic Application Fee 2025

There will be no successful Goa Polytechnic Registration without successful fees payment. Therefore, the candidates must not forget to pay the fee. We have mentioned the fees details below.

Goa Polytechnic Application Fee: Rs. 1300/-

NOTE: They will have to issue a demand draft of Rs 1300 which is to be remitted in the Account of “Directorate of Technical Education” with client code ‘DRCTORTEDU’ in any branch of HDFC Bank in the State of Goa or any other approved mode of remittance as may be duly notified.

Goa Polytechnic Merit List 2025

The Directorate of Technical Education is the official authority that releases the Goa Polytechnic Merit List. It will release the merit list in the third week of July. In order to download it, the candidates must visit the official website. The Goa Polytechnic Merit List is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam. Furthermore, the candidates who have their names on the merit list will be called for the Goa Polytechnic Counselling Rounds. The candidates who do not have their names on the merit list will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.

Goa Diploma Polytechnic Counselling 2025

The candidates who have their name on the Goa Polytechnic Merit List will be called for the Goa Polytechnic Counselling. The counselling schedule will be uploaded on the official website i.e. dte.goa.gov.in. Therefore, the candidates must visit the official website in order to download the counselling schedule. Subsequently, the candidates must reach the Goa Polytechnic Counselling venue on time. Furthermore, the request for the change of time, date & venue of the counselling will not be entertained. Therefore, the candidates must be on time for the Goa Polytechnic counselling. Furthermore, they must carry the required documents to the counselling venue. The document verification process will be followed by the set allotment procedure.

Goa Diploma Tie Breaker Criteria

Sometimes, it so happens that the two candidates score the same marks. In such situations, the candidates are subjected to the tie-breaker criteria. We have mentioned the rules of the tiebreaker criteria. Check below.

• If the two candidates secure the same marks, then the candidate who has more marks in Mathematics will be given preference over the one secured fewer marks.

• However, if both the candidates secured the same marks in mathematics as well, then the one who secured higher in Science, will be given preference.

• If both the candidates secured the same marks in both Science & Maths, then the English marks will be considered, whilst making the final Goa Diploma Admission Merit List.

DTE Goa Polytechnic Document Verification 2025

The candidates must carry the required documents to the Goa Polytechnic Counselling venue & date. However, they must make sure that the documents are valid. Goa Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2025

After the candidates have got their documents verified, they will subsequently be allotted seats. The seat allotment process will depend on the preference filled by the candidate in the Goa Polytechnic application form. It will also depend on the availability of seats in a particular course/college. Furthermore, after the seat allotment process, the candidates must report to the allotted college.
