DMLT course duration and eligibility

Medical Laboratory Technology is one of the emerging course in the paramedical field of study. DMLT trains the students to become future lab assistants or lab technicians. One can easily choose their career in laboratory techniques by enrolling themselves in this 2-year diploma course or a 3-year Graduation course.

DMLT course after class 12th is for 2years (4 semesters)

  • The candidates should have passed class 12th with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Besides, they must have an aggregate of 40% marks for the General category and 35% for the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC).

DMLT course after Graduation is for 1year (2 semesters)

  • The candidates should have completed their BSc. degree.  Further, they need to have an aggregate of 45% marks for the General category and 40% for the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC).

DMLT Course admission process

The DMLT admission is done through a national/state level entrance test followed by a round of personal interviews. The entrance test analyzes the general aptitude of the candidate. DMLT Course Syllabus

The syllabus for DMLT course includes the study of diseases, its prevention, and diagnosis through clinical lab tests. Also, this is a 2year diploma course and it follows semester system in which there are a total of 4 semesters.
