OJEE Counselling Schedule Revised 2020

OJEE Counselling 2020: Step-wise Procedure

Qualified candidates, who are interested in seeking admission under the OJEEC affiliated college/ institutes, will have to participate in the OJEE Counselling 2020 rounds. The candidate has to make the OJEE Counselling 2020 registration fee payment and get their documents verified. Also, college and course preferences have to be selected in the order of choice. OJEEC, on the basis of the OJEE Result 2020 and OJEE Candidate Merit List, will allot seats to the candidates. The candidate has to confirm their admission by making the admission fee payment to the allotted college/institute.

To participate in the OJEE Counselling 2020, follow the steps given below.

Step 1 – Registration

Firstly, candidates will have to register for participating in the OJEE Counselling 2020. The registrations will be done from the official website of the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee. Enter in the name of the course along with JEE Main Roll Number and Date of Birth. Furthermore, enter in additional details such as an address, contact number, and bank details. After registration, candidates should take a print of the confirmation page.

Step 2 – OJEE Counselling 2020 Fee Payment

After registration, candidates have to pay a counselling fee which will be nonrefundable. The amount of fees is INR 450. The fee can be deposited via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Candidates who want to choose the offline way of payment. They can pay the fee by the S.B.I Payment Gateway.

Step 3: Choice Filling

OJEE aspirants have to fill their college choice as per their preference. So, the list of college along with their branches will display on the screen. Accordingly, candidates can analyze and fill their choices.

Step 4: Mock Result

On the basis of the choices filled, a mock result will be published. So, the mock result will display the allotment status of the candidate’s choices. Hence, candidates must check the result on the official website for detailed information.

Step 5: Locking of Choices

After the release of the mock result, the candidates can lock their choices. Also, it is important that the candidates preview their choices & then lock them.

Following the choice locking process, candidates will receive an OTP (one-time-password) on the registered contact number. With the help of this OTP, they have to lock their choices. However, once the choices are locked, no changes can be made. Hence, check the choices clearly and then lock it.

Step 6: Round 1 of Seat Allotment

There will be various rounds of seat allotment. Hence, candidates must wait for both the rounds to see if they get admission in the desired institute.

Step 7: Admission Fees

Qualifying candidates in the 1st round of seat allotment have to pay the admission fees. SC, ST, and PC candidates have to pay Rs. 5000. However, General candidates have to pay Rs. 10,000. Candidates who do not pay the fees will not be able to proceed further with the admission procedure.

Step 8 – Verification of Documents

There will be nodal centers allotted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee (OJEEC). Candidates, after registration, will have to visit these OJEE Nodal Centers for the document verification process. The documents should have both original and copy formats. The documents submitted should be original and the candidate must also carry a set of photocopies of the documents along with the original documents.

Step 9 – Allotment of Seat- Round 2

Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the OJEE Result and OJEE Merit List. The seat allotment list will be released on the official website of OJEEC. Candidates will have to visit the official website in order to view the OJEE Seat Allotment List. After the seats are allotted, candidates will have to make the decision of taking it or participating in the subsequent round of seat allotment through OJEE Counselling 2020.  This Allotment of Seat will be temporary as in order to make it official, the candidate will have to visit the allotted college/institute and make the admission payment.

Step 10 – Final Seat Allotment

If the candidates who have been allotted a temporary seat have reported to the nodal center and paid the admission fee will be allotted the final seat. These candidates will be required to download the final seat allotment letter and report to the Institute.

  • Certificate in support of NRI
  • Medical Certificate issued by the SCB Medical College for PwD candidates
  • Certificate of employment of the candidate’s parent
  • Qualifying Exam Pass certificate.
  • Ex-serviceman has to apply in the Rajya Sainik Board and verify if recommended or not
