Interested candidates have applied online from the official website of Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee. OJEE 2020 is state level examination, and aspirants should clear the eligibility criteria set forth by the authorities.

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee (OJEEC) will be conducting the OJEE 2020 exam. Candidates will have the provision for application submission online. Know the complete OJEE 2020 Dates and Schedule so as to not miss out on any important details. OJEE 2020 Dates are as given below.

OJEE 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee (OJEEC) has set forth certain guidelines for the candidates that are interested in appearing for the OJEE 2020 Exam. Candidates must clear these guidelines in order to participate in the admission drive.

OJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria is as given below.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm):

Candidates must have passed or appearing in 2020, 10+2 Science examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry as Compulsory Subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subjects) Students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States, etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharm Course. There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2020 for admission into B. Pharm courses.

For admission to Lateral Entry

For admission into 2nd year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology under Lateral Entry for Diploma holders: A. Candidates must have passed or appearing in 2020, in three-year diploma examination (two year in case of Lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering/ Technology from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE & VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute/ from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology.

Lateral Entry into Second Year of B. Tech (Marine Engineering) Programme

1. A candidate should be a Rank holder of a Lateral entry test conducted by OJEE 2020.
2. The candidate should be less than 22 years of age on the day of commencement of 2nd year Marine Engineering degree course.
3. The candidates joining after completing 1st year of Engineering Course from colleges approved by AICTE should have passed in all the subjects with minimum of 60 % of average marks.
4. The candidates joining after passing 3-Year Diploma course in Mechanical/ Marine/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the colleges approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education, should have passed with minimum of 55% of aggregate marks in the last year of Diploma course.
5. In the above cases, the candidate must have secured a 50% mark in English at 10th/ 12th/ Diploma or Degree level.

OJEE 2020 Application Form Submission

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee (OJEEC) has released the OJEE 2020 Application Form on 6th February 2020. Candidates can apply for the OJEE 2020 Exam only through the ‘Online Mode’. Access the Online Application Form from the official website of OJEEC. The candidates should provide all the authentic details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Registration Number shall be generated. Candidate has to fill the particulars online and also upload his/her photograph, full signature and thumb impression of the left hand. The candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page along with proof of money transfer for future reference or correspondence if any.

To successfully submit the OJEE Application Form 2020, follow the steps given below.

Step 1 – Register

Candidates must go to the official website of OJEE 2020 whereupon they will have to locate the link for ‘New Registration’. Enter in personal details and note down the registration number. Candidates will have to create a password for future login and editing.

Step 2 – Upload Images

Candidates will have to upload a Candidates must upload a recent passport size image, scanned image of signature, scanned image of left-hand thumb impression, and declaration by the candidate in his/her own handwriting. Follow the instructions given below.

Step 3 – Payment of Application Fee

The OJEE 2020 Application Fee Payment can be paid via both online mode and offline mode.

Step 4 – Print the Confirmation Page

Lastly, candidates will be required to keep a printed copy of the application form confirmation page for any future reference. For the 2020 session, candidates can take the print of it.  There will be no requirement of sending the confirmation print to the official authority. However, candidates should keep one for themselves. There will be no provision of application form correction, and therefore, candidates must be cautious while filling in the application form details.

OJEE 2020 Admit Card

OJEE 2020 Admit cards will be uploaded at the OJEE website, i.e. www.ojee.nic.in / www.odishajee.com. The candidate has to download two copies of the admit card from the OJEE website which must be endorsed by the Invigilator of the examination centre for allowing the candidate to appear the exam. If an applicant fails to take the print out of OJEE Admit Card 2020 from the OJEE website for the examination, then he/she must contact OJEE 2020 office immediately. If the candidate desires to change any information printed on the Admit card, he/she has to contact the OJEE 2020 office immediately after taking the print out of the Admit Card. A photograph identical to the one pasted on the confirmation slip must be kept with the candidate during the Examination.

OJEE 2020 Exam Pattern

Aspiring candidates for the OJEE 2020, should start things by getting acquainted with the OJEE 2020 Exam Pattern. Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee (OJEEC) is in charge of the formulation of the OJEE 2020 Exam Pattern. Exam Pattern contains information regarding the mode of examination, number of sections, and number of questions per section, marking scheme, answering mode, nature of questions, and so on.

• OJEE 2020 Exam will be conducted in the offline mode, i.e. in pen and paper mode.
• For B Pharm, candidates can expect 45 X 4 = 180 questions for 3 hours duration. Candidates can appear either PCB or PCM as per their choice. A total of 135 questions will be asked.
• For Lateral Entry B Tech, candidates will have to attempt 120 questions for 2 hours duration. Sections will include Engineering Maths, Engineering Mechanics and Basic Electrical Engineering with 40 questions each.
• 4 marks will be granted for each correct answer and -1 will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Syllabus for Biology

From the sections of Botany, candidates can expect questions from Diversity in an organism, Biochemistry of cells, Plant water relations and mineral nutrition, plant growth and development. From the sections of Zoology, candidates can expect questions from the organization of a cell, animal tissues, human nutrition, and human respiration.

OJEE 2020 Answer Key

The official exam conducting authorities will be releasing the OJEE 2020 Answer Key shortly after the conclusion of the exam and candidates can use this to analyze their probable score. The official OJEE Answer Key can be downloaded from the official website of Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Board Committee (OJEEB). Candidates can cross-check the answer with those given in the answer sheet. The OJEE 2020 Answer Key will include all the correct answers to the questions that will be asked in the OJEE 2020 Examination. However, it is unlikely that there will be a challenging facility.

OJEE 2020 Result

The OJEE Result 2020 will be released in the online mode on the official website. Candidates who have taken the examination will be able to check their OJEE 2020 result from the link provided here as well. The result will be released in the form of a Rank Card. Candidates will be able to check their OJEE result by using their exam roll number. The OJEE Result will determine whether the candidate is going to be listed on the OJEE Merit list. OJEE Result will carry the subject wise score and rank of the candidate.

OJEE 2020 Counselling

The OJEE counselling 2020 will be conducted for eligible and qualified candidates listed in the rank list. The OJEE Counselling will be based in the merit list. OJEE counselling will begin in the 3rd week of June and candidates will be required to participate in counselling and seat allotment procedure according to the OJEE counselling schedule 2020. Candidates will be intimidated about the counselling dates where they will have to appear with the required documents at the specified time. Candidates will be allotted seats after the documents have been verified. Selected candidates have to participate in the OJEE Seat allotment process.
