TS PGECET 2019

The TS PGECET 2019 (Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) is a state level Examination which is conducted by the Osmania University every year. Candidates who seek their career in the field of Engineering and Architecture can apply for the Postgraduate course. The Examination is conducted on the behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The students who get qualified in the Entrance Examination can take Admissions in the Post Graduate courses in M. Tech/M. Arch/M. Pharma and other courses. The examination is computer-based and the candidate who applies for the Examination should have minimum knowledge of the computer.  GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the Examinations. TS PGECET Important Dates 2019

The candidates should follow all the important dates so that they do not miss out any important updates on TS PGECET 2019. TS PGECET Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates filling up the form, at first should fulfill the Eligibility Criteria. So, the Candidates are advised to go through all the given criteria of TS PGECET website before filling up the form. Each and every Institute has different criteria. So, it is important for the candidate to fulfill the criteria of the particular institute he/she is applying and also fulfill the general criteria. Following are some of the criteria which are mandatory for the candidate to meet for taking Admissions in TS PGECET courses.

Nationality: The candidate should be a citizen of India if he/she wants to apply for TS PGECET.

Domicile: The candidate should be a resident of either Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. He/She should have lived there for a substantial period of time. All the candidates should have local and Non-local status requirement laid down in the rules and regulations of Admissions.

Qualification: Aspirants seeking to take Admissions in the Engineering course should have done their Bachelors Degree. They must have done B.Tech/B.E/AMTE. Candidates who want admission in M.Pharma should complete their Bachelors in Pharmacy from a reputed organization.

Scores: The candidates belonging to the General Category should at least score 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying Examination and the candidates from the ST/SC categories should score 45% aggregate marks in the last exam.

The candidate who is in the final year is also eligible to apply for the Examination but they should be able to show the proof of passing at the time of Admission. The GATE/GPAT qualified students are exempted from the Examination. They are given the first preference on the basis of their scores in the  Exam

TS PGECET Application Form 2019

The TS PGECET Application Form was only available in the online form. Candidates who want to apply have to go by the online process. The offline system is not at all entertained.

The opening date for the Application form 13th March 2019. Candidates should start applying as soon as the application forms are released. Candidates who do not fill up the form on time have to pay a late submission fee. There are majorly three phases to fill up the form. The first phase is the Registration process, second is Filling Application Forms and the third is Uploading of the required documents. The detailed process of filling up the form is given below:

Registration

• Visit the Official website of TS PGECET 2019 to apply for the course. This is only available in the offline mode. The official website is http://pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
• The candidate has to register themselves for the exam by furnishing all the required details.
• The candidate needs to pay the amount of fee for the proceeding of the Application form. The fee differs with a different category of students. The candidate who belongs to the General Category has to pay an amount of 800 Rupees as their registration fees and the candidates belonging to the ST/SC category have to pay an amount of 400 Rupees as their registration fees.
• If the payment is successful the candidate will get a transaction ID and a password in their E-mail Id or in their Mobile Number

Filling TS PGECET Application Form

• Candidates need to login entering the Transaction Id and the Password which was generated after the successful payment of the fees.
• The candidates then have to fill up their form with their Personal Details, Academic Details and other details. They should enter all the details very carefully.

Uploading the Documents

After filling up the form the candidates need to upload their signature and their passport size photo. This is the last step of the registration process. The signature should be less than 30 KB and the photograph should less 50 KB.

Important highlights on Payments

1. Candidates can pay the registration fee through any payment gateway. They can pay through Credit Card/Debit Card and Net Banking.
2. If a candidate wants to sit for more than one exam they have to register separately with a different registering fee.
3. Candidates can also submit the form late paying the late submission fee. The fee varies with the dates of submission of forms.

TS PGECET 2019 Admit Card/Hall ticket

The TS PGECET Admit Card is released on 22nd May 2019. Candidates are advised to download the Hall ticket as soon as they are released. The Admit Card is the gateway for the candidates as they will not be allowed to sit for the examination without that. Any candidates who fail to show the Hall Ticket will not be allowed to sit in the Examination. The candidates are terminated on the spot if they fail to show their Admit card. The Admit card can be only issued online. The Examination Authorities do not send it via E-mail or by post.

The candidate has to follow a certain procedure to download the Admit Card and they are as follows:

• Visit the official website of TS PGECET  and click on the link given on the website for downloading it.
• The candidate needs to enter the required fields such as Registration Number, Date of birth and select the stream they have chosen.
• After the Admit Card gets displayed, download it.
• After downloading the Admit Card, take out a print out of more than two copies of the Admit card.

The TS PGECET Hall ticket will consist of the following details and the candidates should carefully check it before downloading it. The details are as Name of the candidate, Enrollment Number, Gender, Exam Paper name, Date and time of the Examination, Address or the venue of the Examination Hall, Photograph, Signature, and the guidelines to be followed by the candidates appearing TS PGECET.

If in case, the candidates find any corrigendum in the above-mentioned details, the candidates have to inform the examination Authorities for the rectification of the discrepancies.

Examination Pattern of TS PGECET 2019

A candidate should always follow the TS PGECET Examination Pattern. This help the candidate to understand the system. The TS PGECET examination will be computer based. Candidates will be given only two hours to complete the examination. There will be two sessions for the Examination, One is a noon shift and the other will be the Evening shift. The marking is very simple. There will be 120 questions in the Paper which will carry 120 marks which also means that each question carries 1 mark. A candidate gets an average of 1 minute to solve an answer. The questions that will be set is Multiple Choice Questions. The question paper will only be set in the English Language. The Examination is mostly set with the preferences of the candidates. The TS PGECET Examination centre will be held in any of these two cities and they are Hyderabad and Warangal.

TS PGECET Mock Test 2019

The candidate who wants to be well prepared about everything which is related to TS PGECET should certainly practice the Mock test. The mock test for TS PGECET will be held in the online mode. This Mock test will be conducted by Osmania University this year. Once the candidate appears for a mock test, it gives them a clear picture of the entrance examination they are going to Appear. With the Mock test, the candidate can learn new features on the examination. It gives the candidate a first-hand experience on the online test. Whenever a candidate gets an experience of the mock test it helps them save time on the day of the Examination This year the mock test will be almost the same as the last year. This year the mock test is still not announced so the candidates can practice the previous year mock test. Candidates who practice the mock test and the sample papers have a higher chance of cracking the exam. And the candidates who make the habit of solving sample paper they can solve a question in different ways which help the candidate in the actual exam. With the practice of mock test and sample papers, the candidates become more efficient in terms of working on the papers and also gain confidence the more they practice they also learn time management.

TS PGECET 2019 Answer Keys

The TS PGECET Answer keys will be released by the Month of April. It is generally released after a few days of The examination. With the answer keys, the candidate can compare their answers with the keys. This helps the candidate to evaluate their result. The candidates can at least make an estimation on their performance. If in case, the candidates know that there is a discrepancy in the answer keys, the candidate can challenge the Examination Authority. They can do this by forwarding a mail to the Authorities mentioning the name of the paper, the question, the answer key, the answer as per his knowledge and justification. After cross-checking the keys the authorities will finally release the Answer keys.

TS PGECET Results 2019

The TS PGECET Result is to be declared by the month of June. The candidates have to check online for their result. No candidates will get their result offline because the declaration of the result will be done on the official website of TS PGECET 2019. The GATE/GPAT qualified student will be given the first preference and then the TS PGECET qualified students. A special merit list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s marks. Students who score rank will be called for a counselling after the result. This is compulsory. If a candidate fails to attend the counselling, he will not be selected by any of the government-affiliated colleges. The results can be downloaded in form of rank card by entering all the required details like the Registration Number, Date of Birth, Exam paper. After the Admit Card gets displayed, the candidate should download and keep two or three printed copies with them.

TS PGECET Counselling 2019

The candidates who have qualified the TS PGECET entrance Examination will be called for the next process i.e TS PGECET counselling. Candidates can only attend the counseling process only if they have registered themselves. Candidates have to pay a registration fee for it. The amount of fees that the general category students have to pay is Rs 1000 as the counseling fee and the ST/SC candidates have to pay Rs 500 as their fee. There will be a document verification after that. This is very important for the admission process. The candidates have to provide with all the documents like the Hall ticket, Rank Card, memorandum of marks and others. The candidates have to keep the original documents ready. After completing all the procedures the candidates will be sent a confirmation message.
