The Round 4 Seat Allotment Provisional Result has been released on the official website. Anna University has released the seat allotment round 1 result. The link to check the list is available on this page. Candidates was grouped according to their rank obtained and each group has to attend counselling of TNEA 2019 on their turn. In order to perform activities in counselling rounds, the aspirant can log in to TNEA portal by entering his/her registered email id and password. Procedure of TNEA Counselling 2019
There are five rounds in TNEA 2019 Counselling. The following mentioned steps have to be followed in each round of counselling by applicants. The steps are explained below in detail:
Step 1 – Publishing of List
A list will be published containing names of all eligible candidates and will be made available on the TNEA portal.
Step 2 – Payment of Fees
Payment of the fee is required to attend the particular round of counselling of TNEA 2019. Payment can be made via online mode through Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card. The amount that needs to be paid different category of applicants is shown in the table below:

Note – Applicants are advised to pay the fees in advance in order to participate in the TNEA 2019 Counselling.
Step 3 – Choice Filling
Candidates who have made the payment can now fill the choices according to their preference in order of priority. Three days are given to applicants prior to the commencement of counselling round. A choice refers to a branch in a college.
Step 4 – Locking of Filled Choices
Once an aspirant fills choices, they must lock them before the last date. After the choices are locked the candidate cannot modify or change them. In case the choices are not locked by the applicant then the authority will lock the filled choices of the candidate automatically.
Step 5- Tentative Allotment
The authority will allot the choice tentatively on the basis of rank and applicant’s order of preference.

Step 6 – Submission of Allotment options
The candidate can accept or reject the allotment after it has been done. This allotment option is provided in order to get a decision of an applicant regarding the allotment made.
Step 7 – Final Allotment
The final allotment will be done after the submission of allotment options by the authority. This will depend upon rank and submission of applicant’s allotment options. The final allotment can be checked and downloaded by candidates through TNEA portal.

There are approximately 1.5 lakh seats offered by different participating institutes and there are near about 563 participating institutes. Some of the top participating institutes are listed below:

TNEA Seat Reservation 2019
There are some seats reserved for SC, ST and SCA categories. These reserved seats will not be available for general category applicants. The reservation of seats for different category of applicants are tabulated below:
