TANCET 2025 Exam Dates

The Exam Date of TANCET has been announced by Anna University. It is important that the candidates who are planning to appear for TANCET 2025 must be updated with the latest notification of the schedule of the entrance examination. Once the schedule of the date is available, it is advised that the candidates must save and download the officially released dates so as not to miss any of the Exam Dates of TANCET 2025.

The TANCET Application Form 2025 was released on the official website of Anna University- tancet.annauniv.edu on 19th January 2025. The last date to submit the form was 16th February 2025. The final status of the application form can be checked by 23rd February 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria were eligible to fill and submit the TANCET MBA/M.Tech form. The mode of the registration process is online only. The link to the application form remains active for a limited period of time. Therefore, the candidates are advised to submit the form before the due date.

TANCET Application/Entrance Test Fees

• The entrance test fee is Rs 600/- and Rs 300/- for SC/ST/SCA candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates who want to apply for more than one program has to pay Rs 600/- for each course (M.Tech/MCA/MBA etc.)
• The fee has to be paid online only through a Credit/Debit card or Internet Banking.

Registration Process of TANCET Application Form

The mode of the application form is online. Hence, the step by step procedure of filling the TANCET application form is as follows-

• Click on the registration link available on the homepage- tancet.annauniv.edu.in
• Then click on the “New Registration” process.
• Enter the name, date, mobile number, e-mail id etc. and complete the registration process.
• After the registration process, log in using the credentials and fill in the rest of the details (personal and educational details).
• Upload the documents as per the specifications and make the payment of the application fees.

• The passport size photograph must be a recent one in jpg format.
• The required image size is 200 px to 300 px (Height), and 150 px to 300 px (width)
• The community certificate (for reserved category) must be uploaded in pdf format.
• The image of the signature must be in jpg format written in black or blue ink with white background.
• The recommended size for the signature is 60 px to 80 px (height), and 150 px to 200 px (width).

Eligibility Criteria of TANCET

The eligibility criteria for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is available in the information brochure. It is advised that the students must go through the criteria before applying. The eligibility is defined as per the course for which the candidate is applying for. If the candidate does not meet the criteria, then he/she is not eligible for the TANCET admission process.

General Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates appearing in the Final year/Semester exam of their qualifying exam are eligible for TANCET 2025.
• GATE qualified candidates are also eligible.
• Candidates not from the State of Tamil Nadu are also eligible for the examination.
• Applicants who have secured a valid score in GATE can also appear for the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.E./ M.Plan

The candidates applying for the Post Graduate courses must make sure that they must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent as per the discipline in which they will be applying for PG.
• The candidate must have qualified for the degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for the candidates from SC/ST category).
• Candidate with a valid Score Card of GATE will also be eligible to apply and appear for the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline for a minimum of 3 years.
• The candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with 50% of marks.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

• The candidate applying for MCA must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Graduation as well as in class 12th.
• The candidate must have secured at least 50% of marks in Graduation (45% marks for the Reserved category).

TANCET 2025 Syllabus

The candidates who will be applying for TANCET 2020 must start preparing for the entrance exam in order to qualify for the test. It is important for the applicants that they are aware of the TANCET Syllabus and the questions which will be asked in the question paper as per the course for which they are applying for. TANCET 2025 Answer Key

The Answer Key of TANCET 2025 releases online on the website. The Answer Key comes a few days after the successful completion of the entrance exam. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the answer key. The answer key carries all the correct answers to the questions asked in the entrance test. With the help of the answer key, the applicants can evaluate their estimated scores.

The Result of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) will release on 16th April 2025 online. Candidates who have successfully appeared for the entrance exam can check the result. The exam result determines the qualification status of the candidate. Candidates can check the result by clicking on the TANCET Result Login section. Also, the candidate must note that they cannot get the TANCET Rank List with the wrong details.

The candidate must make sure that they check the TANCET result 2025 of the course for which they gave the exam and must have passed. However, just qualifying the exam will not provide any form of assurance of admission. The final seat allotment will only be through the counselling procedure.
