Post Matric Scholarships Scheme For Minorities 2025: The Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities scholarship is for minority communities provided & supported by the Government of India. In the Post-Matric Scholarships for Minorities, NSP invites application from class 11 to 12 students from minority communities such as Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians to enhance their employability rate. The govt of India bears the expenses of the admission fee, tuition fee, maintenance allowance of the eligible students for 10 months in an academic year. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme For Minorities CS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Check the Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities 2025 Eligibility Conditions below.

  1. The students of class 11,12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M.Phil or Ph.D.
  2. Also, the students belong to the minority community (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians/Parsis).
  3. The students who have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent in the previous exam.
  4. The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 lakh from all the sources.

NOTE 1

The distribution of post matric scholarship scheme minorities CS among the States or Union Territories will be made on the basis of the population of minorities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians) in the States or Union Territories. Scholarships will not be given to more than two students in a family. The Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities 2025, once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured 50% marks in the examination.

NOTE 2

Reservation for female students:

30% of the scholarship will be reserved for girl students. In case a sufficient number of eligible girl students are not available, then the balance reserved Post-Matric Scheme for Minorities 2025 may be awarded to eligible boy students.

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme For Minorities CS Application Form 2025

Eligible candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps to register online for the Post-Matric Scholarships for Minorities 2025. The application form for the academic session 2025-21 is going to release soon.

  1. Click on new user or register at scholarships.gov.in.
  2. Now, click on “Post- Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities” under Ministry of Minority affair.
  3. Fill in all the details and register.
  4. Login again with the given ID.
  5. The registered mobile number will get an OTP.
  6. Enter the OTP number and confirm.
  7. Fill the application form.
  8. At last click on “submit”. Save, Download & take the printout of the filled application form.

NOTE: The concerned State Government/Union Territory Administration will supply the application forms, till such time computerized systems are made operational by the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations. The post-matric scholarship scheme cs application forms should be received back along with requisite certificates/certifications within the stipulated period.

Important Guidelines of Post Matric Scholarships Scheme CS For Minorities 2025

  1. Migration of students from one Institution to another would not normally be allowed during the course of the academic year except under exceptional circumstances and in the interest of the student’s academic career.
  2. Course fee/tuition fee and maintenance allowance will be credited directly to the student’s bank account.
  3. The fund for the distribution of scholarships in subsequent years will be released after receiving the utilization certificate for the previous year.

The students need to provide the following documents to their respective institutions for verification

  • Student photo
  • Institution verification form
  • Income certificate of parents/guardians issued by the competent authority in the state government.
  • Self-declaration of community certificate by the parents/legal guardian.
  • Self-attested certificate of previous Qualifying Exam/Board mark sheet.
  • Fee receipt of the current course year.
  • Proof of bank account
  • Aadhar card
  • Residential certificate.
