According to the latest news, the NSUI, Goa Ahraz Mulla has sent a written letter to the Higher Authority to reschedule the NEET Exam for the Fani Affected Areas. The Letter states- the difficulty faced by the students due to cyclone in Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. However, the Letter States –
“NEET Exam for Medical Entrance Test needs a lot of concentration and dedication with the preparation for the last 2 years. The Cyclone Fani has reached the coastal belt of East India has created destruction, with no power supply, and unavailability of the basic needs”.
“Students have dedicated 2 years to clear this test, but due to the cyclone, it wouldn’t be right to conduct this test for the entire country considering the fact that it is an All India Exam based on the merit” and the letter concludes.
Not only this, many Entrance Exams and Semester Exams conducted by the Biju Patnaik University has been canceled due to Cyclone Fani. As per the sources, and the forecast by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) of the United States Navy, the other region that is likely to affect is West Bengal. The Windspeed is about 175 kmph and has affected the areas- Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack (Niali), Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbahnj, etc.
As per the request letter by NSUI and State Government of India, the NEET 2019, has been postponed for Odisha State. The dates will be available soon for the cyclone-prone states. However, the Exam is on 5th May 2019 (Sunday). The NTA has also changed the examination centers for some states and has re-issued a new NEET Admit Card 2019.
Another Important Exam that has been canceled is AIIMS PG. The AIIMS, New Delhi has notified that the entrance exam which was about to take place in Bhubaneswar has been postponed. However, the dates have not been released yet.
Other than the Entrance Exams, the Semester Exams have also been postponed. Biju Patnaik University (BPUT) has postponed the timetable for the Semester Exams due to the Cyclone Storm “Fani”. The Exam was earlier scheduled from 2nd May to 4th May 2019, which has now been postponed to 25th to 28th May 2019. Utkal University has also postponed the exam. The Exam was to be held from 2nd May to 4th May 2019. The dates will be available soon after the cyclone is over.
The Higher Secondary Exams have also been rescheduled, in Bangladesh. The Government has suspended all the board exams. The HSC Exams for Mathematics and Islamic Studies will now be held on 14th May 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Yes OJEE Exam has been postponed. The exam will now be conducted on 18th May 2019.
