JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2019

Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2019 aspirant must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. Students must go through each criterion thoroughly to avoid any kind of error. False information or non-fulfillment of eligibility criteria for JKCET 2019 application form might invite cancellation of candidature from the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test and the case would be treated as a fraudulent. The candidates who fulfill the requirements of eligibility as prescribed by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) only will be considered for admission. Following are the details of the eligibility criteria that are required to be fulfilled for the candidature.

Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen.

State Eligibility: Candidate should be the permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir.

Age: The minimum regulation ought to be 17 years as on 31st December 2019. There’ll be no upper age regulation to apply for the entrance exam.

Qualification Criteria: Candidates who have cleared 12th Board exams or if they are appearing for 12 Board exam can apply for the entrance. Given that they must represent the passing certificate during the JKCET 2019 counseling.

Minimum Marks: Candidates should have obtained the minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category) in the qualifying exam.

Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as their primary subjects.

JKCET 2019 Application Form

JKCET 2019 Application Form filling has begun from 1st February 2019 & submission extends up to the 10th March 2019. It has been made available through online mode. Personal and academic details along with the choice of exam center and scanned images of the candidate’s photo and signature would be required for the successful submission of the form. How to register for JKCET 2019 Application Form

A step-wise procedure for registration of the JKCET 2019 exam is given below. Follow the steps totally, bear the necessary directions thoroughly and prepare the documents beforehand to avoid any discrepancy in particularization. All the required documents or scanned documents of photograph and signature should be ready beforehand as the given specification to avoid any imprecise or incompatible file format problems. Candidate must possess legal Email address and phone number. Candidates should fill only one application. Multiple applications from the same candidate will be rejected for the candidature. Following are the steps to be followed while filing the JKCET 2019 application form.

STEP 1: The e-brochure for information will be issued by the authority for the convenience of the candidates. Candidates are advised to go through the brochure prior to filling the form for precautions.

STEP 2: Check the disclaimer and advance to the link for registration.

STEP 3: Fill up the basic details like Name, Gender, DOB, Category, Nationality, Email, Phone number, etc. and submit.

STEP 4: Confirmation email and SMS is generated after successful submission. Login ID and password must be secured.

STEP 5: After login, edit the scanned documents like the photograph, signature, caste certificate, medical certificate, left-hand thumb impression, Photo ID proof (permanent address proof). Candidates must ensure the scanned documents are of required specifications.

STEP 6: Verify the entered details, and submit. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the submitted JKCET 2019 application form for the future reference.

STEP 7: Submission of the application fee.

For the successful submission of the form, a minimum amount of JKCET exam fee is supposed to be submitted through the portal of JKCET 2019.
