National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main Rank Card 2025 after the declaration of the JEE Main final result in an online mode at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The candidates can check their Rank card of JEE Main 2025 by entering the login details such as roll no. and password. After taking all four sessions into account, NTA releases the JEE Main Rank List 2025. The best of the four-session is considered for making, the rank list of JEE Main. Candidates will be able to check their All India Rank and category rank. As per the JEE Main rank, the candidates are able to participate in the admission procedure of the JEE Main participating institutes.

NOTE: For 2025-23 the JEE Main is conducted four times a year but the rank card of JEE Main will release only once. The best score out of the four (whatever no. of the session the candidates have taken) will be considered for the JEE Main seat allotment.

What is JEE Main Rank Card?

The rank card of JEE Main is not released for each session. After the end of all the four-session, the rank card will be issued along with the JEE Main result. This will be based on the percentile obtained from the raw score of the candidate obtained in JEE Main sessions. The JEE main normalized score of four sessions will decide the rank of the candidate.

  • Candidates can check the February Question paper and analysis of jee main.
  • The JEE Main result is released after the completion of each session. The result has the percentile scores of each subject of Paper I. The Rank of the candidates will be released after the final result of the JEE exam.

Procedure For Computing The JEE Main Rank List

The rank list of JEE Main is released for each exam session. Candidates can check the procedure below –

  • The NTA compiles the scores after the normalization process of raw marks secured by the candidates.
  • The authority then releases the overall score, and separates NTA scores for each subject.
  • While preparing the rank list, the best of all the session scores (attempted) is considered.
  • If the candidate has appeared only one exam, then that will be considered for the final evaluation.

Tie-Breaking Procedure for JEE Main Evaluation (Paper-I)

If more than two candidates score the same marks in the JEE Main, then the authority uses the tie-breaking process to rank the candidate. Hence, the rank criteria are considered in the following ways

  • Candidate having higher scores in Math is given the preference.
  • If the tie persists, then Physics scores are considered.
  • If the tie still persists, then Chemistry marks are considered to rank the candidate.
  • Even after the above procedure, the tie exists, then applicant who is older is age is given the priority.
  • Finally, if the tie still happens, the concerned candidates will be given the same rank.

JEE Main Paper-II Tir-Breaking Criteria

  • A candidate having higher scores in Aptitude is given the first preference.
  • If the tie still exists, then marks secured in the Drawing is considered.
  • Even after the above procedure, the tie exists, then the applicant who is older is age is given the priority.
  • Finally, if the tie still happens, the concerned candidates will be given the same rank.
