JAC Chandigarh Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidate should strictly meet the eligibility for JAC Chandigarh 2025, otherwise, their candidature will get canceled by the concerned authority. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below for applicants to attend the Counselling process:

• Applicants must hold the citizenship of India
• Candidates must have cleared class 12th from a recognized board and they should have a certificate
• The candidate must have studied Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects and an additional subject in the qualifying examination
• Applicants who belong to General category must have scored an aggregate of 60% in HSC examination
• SC/ST/PH category candidates must have scored 55% in HSC examination
• The candidate should be Mentally and Physically fit

JAC Chandigarh Application Form 2025

JAC Chandigarh form 2025 will be released by the Joint Admission Committee in online mode. To fill and submit the form successfully, aspirants need to pay an application fee of JAC Chandigarh 2025. The application process requires a stepwise procedure to be followed by the candidate in order to fill and submit their respective forms. The steps are briefly prescribed below:

Step 1 – Registration

Candidates need to register themselves before the counselling process commences and once the counselling process begins no new registration will be accepted. Before registration, candidates have to provide details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, JEE Main Application number 2025, JEE Main Roll number 2025. After providing all the required details candidates have to create a password by using JEE Main 2025 Roll number and once the password is created applicants can log in to their respective account where they can find details such as AIR JEE Main 2025.

Step 2 – Filling Details in JAC Chandigarh Form

The candidate has to fill in all the details asked in the form like personal, academic, communication, etc. These details must be appropriate and correct and if the candidate commits a mistake while filling the form that it can be rectified and edited as the authority will be opening a correction window for a limited duration of time.

Step 3 – Application Fee Payment

Now the applicant has to pay an application fee for JAC Online Form 2025 via online or offline mode which is a one-time non-refundable fee. Candidates belonging to General Category need to pay an amount of Rs. 2100 as an application fee while candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to pay an amount of Rs. 1050. Online payment can be made through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card whereas offline payment has to be made through Challan.

Step 4 – Submit & take printout of Form

Once payment has been made, aspirants need to submit their form on or before the last date of submission as the late submission will result in rejection of the Application Form of JAC Chandigarh 2025. JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2025

The authority will organize JAC Counselling 2025 from the 2nd week of July 2025 in online mode. Candidates must be aware of the JAC Chandigarh counselling 2025 date. The counselling procedure will take place in three rounds which are Choice Filling, Mock Counselling, Locking and Printing of the choice and in addition to the Spot Round.

Round 1: Choice Filling

In this step, candidates need to fill the choice of institute and branch as per their preference and there is no limit on the number of choices. Aspirants can change or re-order their choices, delete the earlier choice and can make the new choices as many times as they want before locking the choices they have made.

Round 2: Mock Counselling

JAC Chandigarh Mock counselling will help the applicants to understand the final confirmation of the institute.

Round 3: Locking and Printing of the Choices

In this round candidates need to lock their choice before the given time after they have finalized their choices and after locking they will not be allowed to change their choice. Once the applicant has locked their choice they need to take a printout of it for the future references

Round 4: Spot Round

Candidates who miss the choice filling counselling round can participate in Spot Round by paying a fee of Rs. 40,000 as a Participation fee.

JAC Chandigarh Cut-Off 2025

After completion of each Counselling round, authorities will release the JAC Chandigarh Cut-off  2025. The cut-off is the minimum score that the applicants need to get admission which includes the opening and closing ranks of the shortlisted candidates. Candidates who will miss the cut-off of JAC Chandigarh 2025 will be rejected from getting admission. The cut-off is mainly based on the number of candidates applied for a particular branch, availability of seats, and the previous year’s cut-off.
