What is IIMC Entrance Test?

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication is responsible for conducting the IIMC Entrance Test. Through the entrance test, candidates can get admission to various Post-Graduate Diploma Courses. However, the exam will be conducted offline. IIMC conducts a prestigious Diploma Course in Development Journalism for mid-career journalists from Non-aligned and Developing Countries. The course is organized under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) and the Special Commonwealth African Assistant Plan (SCAAP) programmes of the Ministry of External Affairs. This course, which is of four months duration, is organized twice a year from January to April and again from August to December every year.

IIMC Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates who will be applying for the entrance test conducted by the Indian Institute of Mass communication will have to go through the eligibility criteria and must make sure that they fulfill all the defined conditions. IIMC Entrance Exam Application Form 2025

The Application Form of IIMC Exam 2025 will be released in an online mode on the official website of the Institute and the candidates who are planning on appearing for the entrance test will have to fill up the Application and submit it before the due date. IIMC Entrance Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2025

The candidates who will be appearing for the entrance test will have to make themselves aware of the pattern of the question paper as prescribed by the Departments of Indian Insititute of Mass Communication. IIMC Exam Admit Card 2025

Indian Insititute of Mass Communication will be releasing the Admit Card of the entrance test in an online mode on the official website of the University. Candidates who have successfully submitted the Application Form will be eligible to download a copy of the Admit Card. The candidate must provide the correct credentials in the Admit card login link. The IIMC Admit card is an important document that has to be presented on the day of the exam by the candidate at the examination center, the entry in the center will be prohibited otherwise and the candidate will not be able to give the entrance test. The officially released Admit card will mention all the important details which will be relevant for the candidates appearing for the exam.

The Admit card contains all the details regarding your Name, Roll No., Course, Examination center, etc. It is mandatory that you bring the admit card to the examination center on the day of the Entrance Exam. The candidate must contact the examination authorities immediately if there is an error in the details on the Admit card. You shall also be required to attach a photograph of yourself on the given space. IIMC Entrance Exam Result 2025

The Result of IIMC Exam will be released in an online mode and the candidates who have appeared for the exam will be eligible to check whether they are qualified to take admission to the course or not. The availability of the Result link will be as per the scheduled date as announced by the examination conducting body of the Institute. Candidates will have to appear for the two rounds of the exam, one will be the written test and another one will be the Interview round which will be the final round of selection. Only those candidates who have qualified for the written exam will be eligible for the Interview round.  The final selection will be on the basis of the marks secured in an Interview round.

The declaration of the Result of IIMC 2025 will be in a form of a Merit List and the candidates will be able to check the Result by providing the credentials in the Login section of the Result which is valid and correct. Interview round for IIMC 2025 Admissions

The final admission to the applied Diploma Courses in Indian Insititute of Mass communication will be on the basis of the Interview round which will be held by the faculties of the concerned Department.
