The GRE Exam which stands for Graduate Records Examination is a standardized examination or test to get into the admissions to the topmost Graduate schools across the globe. GRE 2018 Test Eligibility
There is no as such GRE 2018 Eligibility. The interested applicants can apply for GRE 2018 irrespective of the age and qualification. In short, there are no specific eligibility criteria for GRE 2018. But however, the candidates have to fulfill the complete admission process or criteria for the institutes or the universities you are applying for. The score of GRE 2018 will be your ticket to get admission into the Post Graduate Programmes. The students who have completed their undergraduate courses can apply for this exam.

GRE 2018 Registration Process
There are mainly four processes to register for GRE 2018 Exam in India. The modes of registration are:
Online Registration
While registering online, the candidates first have to create an account named, “My GRE Account”. Through this, the candidates can apply for GRE 2018 and can also check their scores. The candidates can apply for the registration online by following the steps:
- Visit the GRE Official website and create an Account named, “My GRE Account”.
- Now login to the account.
- After Logging in, the candidates have to fill in the required details or the basic information like the name, address etc.
- Make the payment. The payments are done only through the debit/credit card.
- After the completion of the steps, the candidate can log in and select the date and place where they want to attempt the exam.

The form must receive within 3 weeks before the choice of your GRE Test Date. A confirmation number along with the reporting time and the test center address will be e-mailed, faxed or mailed to you.
Phone Registration:
In the Phone Registration Process, you have to call the Regional Registration Center (RRC) which is Prometric located in Gurgaon, Haryana. The Phone Number is 91-124-4147700. The call must be made at least two days before the preferred test date. You will be provided with a confirmation number, reporting time and test center address.
Fax Registration:
In case of a Fax Registration, you will have to take a printout and complete the application form and send it to 91-124-4147773 with the application fee. The form must be received at least seven days before the test date you have selected.
GRE Test Centers in India
The GRE Test 2018 will be conducted in over 1000 cities across 160 countries. The candidates can choose the test center of their choice from the option given by the Educational Testing Center. The candidates are requested to check the GRE 2018 test centers, test dates and their availability from the ETS Portal. GRE 2018 Exam Pattern
The GRE 2018 comprises of three sections: Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. The Analytical Writing Section is always in the first whereas, the Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning can appear in any order. The GRE Test for both Paper-Based and Computer-Based are different.
In Paper-Based GRE Exam:
In Paper-based GRE Exam, the Analytical Writing consists of 2 sections having 2 tasks. The total time duration for completing the Analytical writing is 60 minutes or an hour. The verbal reasoning consists of 2 sections comprising 50 questions. This section is allowed with a total time duration of 70 minutes. The Quantitative Reasoning section, comprises of 2 sections having 50 questions. The total time duration of this section is 80 minutes. Hence, the total time duration of the Paper-Based GRE Exam 2018 is 3 hours and 30 Minutes.
In Computer-Based GRE Exam:
In the Computer-based GRE Exam, the Analytical writing consists of one section having 2 separately timed tasks where one will be “Analyze an Issue Task” and the other will be “Analyze the Argument Task”. The total duration for completing this section is 60 minutes which means 30 minutes for each task. The verbal reasoning consists of 2 sections having 40 number of questions. That means 20 questions for each section. The total time duration for completing this section is 60 Minutes which states 30 Minutes per section. At last, the Quantitative Reasoning, consists of 2 sections having 40 Questions with a total time duration of 70 minutes which means 35 minutes per section.
Hence the total duration of the GRE Examination is about 3 hours and 45 Minutes. This includes 1-minute breaks after each section and a 10- minute break after the third section.

The GRE 2018 Syllabus, for the General Test is categorized into three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Writing.
Quantitative Reasoning Section:
This section checks the candidates ability and performance of understanding and analyzing the quantitative information. GRE 2018 Scoring Pattern and Results
An e-mail notification will be sent to the candidates who have appeared for the GRE Examination. The e-mail consists of the information about the availability of the scores. The results will be available in the GRE 2018 accounts of the applicants. The candidates who are appearing for the computer-based test can know about their unofficial Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning test scores. GRE Score Validity
The scores are valid for five years after the year you have taken the exam.
GRE Results
The Official test scores are available in the official website of GRE. These scores will be sent to the Universities of your choice within six weeks of your test date. A e-mail will be sent from ETS that your GRE Scores are available in your account.
GRE 2018 Test Dates
Like other International Exams, the GRE does not have any specific dates for appearing the exam. The candidate’s can select any date as per your convenience and availability. Make sure that the exam date you select must be at least two months before the date of the test.
Like for an example, if the deadline of the application form is November, then you must choose the test date for September. And if in case, you want to retake the examination again, then you can give the exam on October again.
GRE Admit Card 2018
