Goa University Admission Ranking Test (GU-ART) Result 2021

Goa University Admission Ranking Test GU ART PG 2021 is an entry-level exam that offers admission in Postgraduate courses. Goa University 2020 Counselling

After a successful release of the rank list and the merit list, candidates have been forwarded to the final selection process, i.e. the counselling process. It is conducted by Goa University in two rounds. Candidates are allotted seats and their documents are verified through the counselling process. Candidates have to pay a certain amount as a counselling registration fee. Important guidelines as stated by the admission authorities are enlisted below:-

Reporting to the counselling venue

As stated by the university guidelines, candidates are required to report half an hour (30 minutes) before the start of counselling. The candidates are required to be present in person at the counselling venue as designated to them. They will be required to carry the important documents along with the photo ID proof and the admission slip. Names of the candidates will be announced on the basis of the rank list.

Document verification process

After proper verification of the documents candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their performance and reservation criteria.

• The candidature of absentees will not be considered: In case the selected candidate is found absent, then his/her admission will not be entertained.
• Rules for latecomers: In case any candidate gets late, then the preferred seat allotted to him/her will be passed on to the next candidate.
• Seat filling and locking: As stated by the university, seats under the unreserved category will be filled first, followed by the respective reserve category.  The vacant reserved seats will be converted into unreserved seats only after the completion of round 2 counselling.

Note. For 2020, the academic session, counselling round 2 was supposed to take place on March 24, 2020. But it was postponed due to CIVID-19.
