The main objective behind launching this scholarship is to motivate and help financially the meritorious students of Odisha for higher studies. The Higher Education Department of Odisha offers four scholarship under different categories and they are as follows:

E-Medhabruti Scholarships are granted to deserving scholars under various programs. Given below is the table showing the scholarship type, number, and duration distributed to students under different programs.

Exclusions of Odisha E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025

If the official authority finds any one of the points mentioned below, then he/she will be disqualified from the scholarship program. The students will not be eligible for the scholarship even if they have registered.

1. Students whose parental income from all sources exceeds Rs.6 lakh per annum.
2. Student’s pursuing higher study open universities or distance learning/correspondence.
3. The candidates already availing the scholarship for pursuing higher study under any other schemes of state or central govt.
4. The Applicants pursuing diploma level courses are not eligible for the technical/professional relationship.
5. The Students of M.Phil, PhD, B.Ed & M.Ed are not eligible for P.G. or technical and professional merit.
6. Candidates studying abroad.
7. Fellows completing one technical/professional course pursues another technical/professional course are not eligible.
8. The aspirant admitted to the college/University/Institute not approved by the concerned regulatory bodies.

List of Documents Required At The Time of Reporting for E-Medhbruti Scholarships 2025

The shortlisted students will be required to produce a set of original documents along with one photocopy of the same at the time of document verification. Find the list of the document given below.

1. Domicile certificate to be issued by the competent authority. i.e from the concerned Tahasildar/ Add. Tahasildar. The students who are working under the Odisha state Govt. can produce resident proof from the employer.
2. Proof of annual income to be issued by the competent authority. i.e the revenue officer not below the rank of Tahasildar or Add. Tahasildar.
3. Mark sheet & certificate of last qualifying examination as required for different categories of merit.
4. Bank account details of the student concerned (first-page bank account containing account number or IFSC).

How To Apply For E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025

Interested and eligible students can apply within schedule date and time. No offline mode of application will be accepted by the concerned authority. The application form is likely to release in the 2nd week of September 2025. The last date to fill up the application form is 2nd week of October 2025. Only verified online application will be considered for award of scholarship. General details need to be entered by the applicants correctly. After entering all the required information, submit the application form. Take the printout of the filled up application form for future reference.

Outside students (Student of Odisha but studying outside Odisha) can also apply online for the scholarship if they have valid supporting documents. The students are required to submit the office copy of the application along with the other relevant documents to the institutes where she/he has been studying.

Odisha Junior Merit E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025

The Higher Education Department of Government of Odisha offers the Odisha Junior Merit Scholarship 2025 to encourage the meritorious students for their higher education. To eligible for the Odisha Junior Merit Scholarship 2025, students should have a minimum of 60% marks in the class 10th board exam and the student’s family income should be less than 6 lakh. Odisha Senior Merit e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025

The Odisha Senior Merit Scholarship 2025 is for the students (both boys & girls) of Odisha state to complete their higher education i.e. B.A, B.Sc. & B.Com. As per the Odisha Senior Merit Scholarship 2025, all the eligible students who will apply online for this scholarship scheme will get Rs 5000 per year up to 3 years. Odisha PG Merit e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025

The Higher Education Department of Odisha state offers the Odisha PG Merit Scholarship 2025 for the students of Odisha state who are pursuing MA, M.Sc. & M.Com. Eligible candidates who will fill the Odisha PG Merit Scholarship 2025 Form successfully on or before the last date will get a scholarship amount of Rs 10,000 annually for up to 2 years.
