DU B.Ed 2025: The Department of Education, Delhi University, also known as the Central Institute of Education (CIE)  is among the country’s most prominent institutes of professional learning & research in education. The candidates who will be applying for the DU B.Ed admission will have to keep themselves updated with the latest released information available on the official website of the Department. Application Form For DU CIE B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025

The Online Admission Form of DU B.Ed 2025 will be released by NTA. It is an important part of the admission procedure which has to be followed by the candidate. It must be noted that the DU B.Ed department has not released the Application Form separately. The DU B.Ed Online Admission Registration Form has to be provided with all the details as asked in the form and the details must be provided with the utmost care. The Information Brochure will be released along with the Application Form and the candidates applying are advised that they must go through it thoroughly so as to avoid any form of error while filling up the form.

The details to be provided in the DU B.Ed Online Admission Form must be as mentioned in the Prospectus of DU B.Ed 2025. It must be noted that the details mentioned in the Application Form must be valid and correct as any form of misleading detail will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. How to fill the DU B.Ed Application Form 2025?

1. Visit the DU PG Admissions Portal link and register yourself. Keep the record of the E-mail ID and the password you use to register yourself at the portal as it shall be required for logging in later on.
2. Follow the instructions given on the portal to complete the application procedure.
3. Select the Teaching Subject. You can select only one subject.
4. Select the examination center from the given options where you would prefer to appear for the entrance exam.
5. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
6. Enter your educational qualifications.
7. Pay the DU B.Ed application fees online using net banking/debit card/credit card. The application fee shall be as follows:

General/OBC	Rs. 500/-
ST/SC/PwD	Rs. 250/-

DU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates who are going to apply for the DU B.Ed Program must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as defined by the Department of Education. Eligibility is an important part of the admission procedure which must be gone through by the candidate. The DU B.Ed eligibility in detail will be mentioned in the Information Brochure and the official notification which will be released by NTA.

The following two DU B.ED eligibility conditions (A and B) must be met by candidates seeking admission into the B.Ed program offered by the University of Delhi:

DU B.Ed Minimum Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification considered equivalent with minimum 50% marks.

OR

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology and specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification considered equivalent.

DU B.Ed Eligibility For Choosing Teaching Subject

• The candidate must select one of the subjects given in the following table as his/her teaching subject. It shall be considered while preparing the DU B.Ed merit list and can’t be changed at any cost.

• Candidate must have studied the subject he/she selects as a teaching subject while pursuing the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree for at least 200 marks and must have obtained 50% in the subject.

Please note the following points regarding the selection of Teaching Subjects:

• Candidates opting for Sociology, Psychology or Commerce as teaching subjects should have essentially done Post graduation in the respective subject.

• The applicant with a B.Com degree can opt for any subject except Sociology, Psychology or Commerce provided he/she has had studied the subject during graduation.

• Those applying on the basis of a DU B.Ed graduate degree are advised to choose from Integrated Sciences or Social Science

• The aspirants opting for Home Science must have a B.Sc Home Science degree.

• The student having a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Hons./Pass) are advised to choose Mathematics as their subject.

• Applying on the basis of a  Postgraduate degree in any of the Science subjects offered at school level can choose Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Home Science/ Mathematics as their teaching subject.

• Candidates applying on the basis of a Postgraduate degree in any of the Social Science subjects offered at school level can choose History / Geography / Economics / Political Science as their teaching subject.

DU B.Ed Entrance Exam Admit Card 2025

The hall ticket of the Delhi University B.Ed Program is an important document that must be presented by the candidate on the day of the exam. The DU B.Ed Admit card is now available in an online mode and will be on the official website of the University. The admit card of DU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025 is available as per the scheduled date as announced by the Department. The details in the login section must be valid and correct, the incorrect information will prohibit the candidates from downloading the Admit Card of the Entrance Exam 2025.

The details mentioned on the DU B.Ed hall ticket have to be verified by the candidate once the document is downloaded. DU B.ED Entrance Exam 2025

The B.Ed program of the University of Delhi (DU) is offered by the Faculty of Education (Central Institute of Education-CIE). The DU B.Ed Registration Form will be available in an online mode and candidates interested in pursuing B.Ed from DU will be required to fill up the DU B.Ed Registration Form online. The B.Ed program under DU is currently available at the following institutes:

1. Faculty of Education (Central Institute of Education – CIE)
2. Lady Irwin College ( LIC)
3. Maharshi Valmiki College of Education (MVCE)
4. Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for women (SPMC)

The DU B. Ed. is a two-year full-time program. It is not permissible for B.Ed. students to take up any employment (full-time or part-time). Neither are they allowed to pursue two-degree courses simultaneously either from the University of Delhi or from other universities except for the part-time diplomas/certificates of the University of Delhi.

The total number of seats offered in the DU B.Ed. the program is 350 (Excluding 5 % supernumerary seats each for PwD, CW, and Foreign Category candidates).

The admission to the DU B.Ed program is decided by the merit of the applicants in the entrance examination held for that purpose.

DU CIE B.Ed Entrance Exam Pattern 2025

The admissions to the DU B.Ed program for the University of Delhi shall solely be based on the score of the candidate in the entrance exam. The following points highlight the DU B.Ed Entrance Exam Pattern of the DU B.Ed program:

• Duration: 2 hours (4 pm to 6 pm)

• Type: Multiple Choice Questions

• Maximum marks: 400

• No. of Questions: 100 (4 marks for each correct answer)

Admission Procedure To The DU B.Ed Programme 2025

Soon after the declaration of the results, NTA will release the DU B.ED Admission College list on the official website of DU (du.ac.in). The admission list shall contain the name of the candidates shortlisted for admission and the institution they have been allotted. The time period for admission shall also be notified.

If a candidate fails to report within the appointed date, his/her seat shall be canceled and allotted to other candidates in the B.Ed merit list in the subsequent lists of admission.

• The selected candidates shall have to accomplish the admission-related formalities by visiting the institution allotted to him/her within the stipulated date and time.
• The DU B.Ed admission shall be complete only after the payment of the fee as notified by the institution.

The documents in original that the candidate has to get verified during the admission are:

1. High School/Secondary School Certificate for verification of date of birth.
2. A detailed Statement of Marks in Graduation Parts – I, II, III and in case of Postgraduates also the Master’s Degree Statement of Marks.
3. Provisional Certificate or degree of the qualifying examination.
4. Relevant certificates/documents from a competent authority, establishing the candidate’s claim for reservation, for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
5. Character Certificate from the institution last attended or any gazetted officer (valid for six months from the date of issue).
6. In the case of candidates in service, a No Objection Certificate from the employer and a letter of sanction of study leave for a period of two years.
7. Two latest passport-size photographs.
