Delhi University releases cut-offs based on the class 10+2 qualifying examination marks. The students who meet the required cut-off mark are granted admission to various undergraduate courses in the college of their choice. The DU Cut Off is prepared by taking the “best of four” subjects combination. Candidates must follow the below given table to get the idea of “best of four subjects” combination for various undergraduate programmes.

The “best of four” subject combination is different for various courses. To know the “best of four” subjects which are taken into consideration while preparing for cut-off are provided in the table below:

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of one language and three best elective subjects.
2. B. A (Hons)

B. Com (Hons)

Foe B.A (Hons) course in Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit. Please refer to S. no 3.
3. B. A (Hons) Arabic, Hindi, Persian, Punjabi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Bengali.

B.A (Hons) in French, German, Italian and Spanish.

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis one language and three best elective subjects.
4. Computer Science The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of best four academic subjects including Mathematics (only one language to be considered).
5. Mathematics,

Statistics

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of one language, Mathematics under academic stream and two best elective subjects.
6. B. Sc (Hons)

Botany

Zoology

Microbiology

Anthropology

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 subjects as mentioned in column 2 for each honours course
7. B. Sc (Hons)

Biological science

Physics

Chemistry

Electronics

Instrumentation

Polymer science

Geology

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 science subjects as mentioned in column 2 for each honours courses.
8. B. Sc (Hons)

Food Technology

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of PCM or PCB whichever is higher and 3 % relaxation for PCMB.
9. B. Sc (Hons)

Bio-chemistry

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 4 sciences subjects as mentioned in coloumn 2.
10. B.Sc (Mathematical science)

(Physical Science)

(Life science)

The cut-off mark shall be prepared on the basis of marks  in the aggregate of 3 science subjects as mentioned in column 2.
