CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2020

  • The candidate must be a citizen on India.

Age Limit

  • For Junior Research Fellowship: In order to be eligible for JRF, the maximum age limit is 28 years on 01/01/2020.

Lectureship

  • There isn’t any upper age limit for lectureship.

Educational Qualification

  1. The candidate must posses an MSc or an equivalent degree/Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B.Tech/BPharma/MBBS degeree or a B.Sc (Hons.) Degree or an equivalent degree or the candidate must be enrolled in the integrated MS-PhD program. Also, they must have an aggregate marks of 55% for General & OBC categories & 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  2. Also, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree, only then will he/she be eligible for fellowship in order to get enrolled in the PhD/Integrated PhD Program, within the validity period of two years.
  3. Furthermore, the candidates who possess only a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & not for Lectureship (LS).

The aspiring candidates must fill up the registration form of CSIR UGC NET 2020. In order to do so, they must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency. CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2020

The candidates who successfully registered themselves will be able to download the admit card of CSIR UGC NET 2020. In order to download the hall ticket, the candidates must visit the official website (testservices.nic.in). Therein, they must provide valid credentials in order to log in. Since the candidate will not be able to log in with invalid credentials. Furthermore, the CSIR UGC NET Hall Ticket is an important document, therefore, the candidates must check it carefully.

In case of any discrepancy in the CSIR UGC NET Hall Ticket, the candidate must contact the examination authority. After downloading the hall ticket, the candidates must keep it safe for future purposes.
