CIT Kokrajhar entrance exam 2020 -Central Institute of Technology at Kokrajhar district is a public engineering institution established by the government of India in 2006. It is situated in the north-eastern state of Assam. It conducts Central Institute of Technology Entrance Examination (CITEE) to shortlist the candidates for admission to 3 years of Diploma courses in the below-listed streams. Distribution of Seats
Out of the total number of seats in Diploma Programme, 85% of the seats are offered through Central Institute of Technology Entrance Examination (CITEE) conducted by CIT, Kokrajhar and remaining 15% of the seats are offered through Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) conducted by State Council of Technical Education, Assam.
CITEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The official examination conducting authority prepares a set of eligibility criteria that a candidate has to possess in order to apply and attend the CITEE 2020. There are various diploma courses offered via CITEE 2020 score. The candidates who are interested should check the eligibility criteria and then apply for cit kokrajhar entrance exam 2020. The interested candidate can apply for CITEE 2020 both in offline and online mode according to their suitability. Before filling up the registration form, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The application form will be released on March 2020. Candidates can apply latest by May 2020 for both online and offline mode. The procedure to apply in both the modes is provided below.
To apply via online mode:
- Step 1:- Go to the link given at the top of this page. It will redirect to the official registration page.
- Step 2:- Read the instruction carefully and click on “Apply Now” option.
- Step 3:- Create a “login ID” and “password” by registering yourself.
- Step 4:- Fill in the application form by entering the personal details and academic qualification.
- Step 5:- Payment of application fee.
- Step 6:- Download the application form and take the printout of the same for future use.
NOTE 1: Candidates need to print and send a hard copy of the online application form to “THE MEMBER SECRETARY, ADMISSION COMMITTEE, CIT, KOKRAJHAR, BTAD, ASSAM-783370”, by registered/speed/general post on or before April 2020. The form should accompany with the entrance examination fees receipt paid through SBI, E-Collect.
NOTE 2: The application fee payment will have to be made by the candidate in online mode through debit/ credit cards or net banking. The amount to be paid as registration fee for CITEE 2020 is provided in the table below:

To apply via offline mode
The application form should be properly filled in original and submitted to “The Member Secretary, Admission Committee, CIT, Kokrajhar, BTAD, Assam 783370 by registered/speed/general post tentatively on or before April 2020. However, the duly filled application form may also be submitted to the ADMISSION CELL, CIT, KOKRAJHAR by hand on or before the last date. Application forms received or submitted after the last date shall be rejected. The application form can be obtained from the selling centers by paying Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for SC/ST/PWD.

CITEE CET Admit Card/ Hall Ticket 2020
Admit card will be issued to the candidates who have registered for CITEE 2020. The registered candidate can view and download the admit card for CITEE 2020 by entering the application form number and registered mobile number. Link to download the hall ticket will be provided here when it gets released. Admit card will carry details like the name of the candidate, roll number, date and time of the test and address of the exam centre. The applicants must carry the hall ticket on the examination day. However, the Admit Card will not be sent to the candidates by Post/Email/SMS etc.
CITEE 2020 Exam Centres
The Central Institute of Technology Entrance Examination will be held across many cities in Assam. The names of the exam centre available are provided below:
The result of CITEE 2020 exam will be available tentatively on June 2020. Candidates who took the test can check their scorecard by visiting the official website. Students will be called for the counselling on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. CITEE Result will contain the marks obtained in the test.
The selection of aspiring candidates for admission shall be based on their performance in the Entrance Examinations. However, the candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of Essential Educational Qualification and Age Limit. The selection will be based on merit separately for all regions and reservation categories. Candidates who fail to furnish the proofs for their claims in respect of reservation of seat pertaining to region and category will not be considered eligible for admission.
CITEE 2020 Merit list
A single merit/ranking list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Entrance examination. The ranking for CITEE 2020 will depend on the total marks obtained in the Entrance exam, then in the order of individual marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, in cases whereby the total marks obtained is same.
A candidate may be admitted into the Diploma programme of CIT in two ways. The candidate has to clear the CITEE 2020 entrance examination followed by counselling at CIT, Kokrajhar. The second way is to appear in Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2020 conducted by Director, State Council for Technical Education (SCTE), Guwahati, Assam. The candidates appearing in PAT are to attend counselling called by SCTE whereby their eligibility would be verified and their admission forwarded to CIT, Kokrajhar.
Admission of candidates in all the Polytechnics/Technological Institutions for the Academic Session 2020-2021 for them mentioned hereinafter will be made through counselling. The detailed information regarding the counselling schedule will be provided when it releases. The shortlisted candidates must report to the counselling venue which will be uploaded on the official website. At the time of certificate verification at helpline centres, candidates should produce the following original certificates in support of the qualification and reservations claimed in the application for verification.
- A printed copy of CITEE 2020 Hall Ticket and application form.
- Mark sheet of the Qualifying class 10 Examination.
- Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificate).
- Community/ Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC/EBC/ Minority candidates. (if applicable)
- 2 recent colour passport size photograph.
- Physical fitness certificate from an Asst. Civil Surgeon.
- One set of Photocopies of all the above certificates.
CITEE Seat Reservation 2020
The government of Assam has reserved the seat for the candidates belonging to reservation category. Candidates have to mention their reservation category while filling the application form of CITEE 2020. Students claiming reservation are required to produce valid supporting documents in the prescribed format at the time of counselling in order to avail the benefit of reserved seats.
