CIT Kokrajhar Entrance Exam 2025: Central Institute of Technology at Kokrajhar district is a public engineering institution established by the government of India in 2006. It is situated in the north-eastern state of Assam. It conducts the Central Institute of Technology Entrance Examination (CITEE) to shortlist the candidates for admission to 3 years of Diploma courses in the below-listed streams. Distribution of Seats
Out of the total number of seats in the Diploma Programme, 85% of the seats are offered through the Central Institute of Technology Entrance Examination (CITEE) conducted by CIT, Kokrajhar and the remaining 15% of the seats are offered through the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) conducted by State Council of Technical Education, Assam.

CITEE Application Form 2025
The interested candidate can apply for CITEE Application Form 2025 both in offline and online mode according to their suitability. Before filling up the CITEE registration form, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The procedure to apply in both the modes is provided below.
To apply via online mode:
- Go to the link given at the top of this page. It will redirect to the official registration page.
- Read the instruction carefully and click on “Apply Now” option.
- Create a “login ID” and “password” by registering yourself.
- Fill in the application form by entering the personal details and academic qualifications.
- Payment of application fee.
- Download the CITEE application form and take the printout of the same for future use.
NOTE 1: Candidates need to print and send a hard copy of the online application form to “THE MEMBER SECRETARY, ADMISSION COMMITTEE, CIT, KOKRAJHAR, BTAD, ASSAM-783370”, by registered/speed/general post on or before April 2025. The form should accompany the entrance examination fees receipt paid through SBI, E-Collect.
NOTE 2: The application fee payment will have to be made by the candidate in online mode through debit/ credit cards or net banking. The amount to be paid as registration fee for CITEE 2025 is provided in the table below:

How to apply for CITEE Offline Application Form 2025?
The application form should be properly filled in original and submitted to “The Member Secretary, Admission Committee, CIT, Kokrajhar, BTAD, Assam 783370 by registered/speed/general post tentatively on or before last week of August 2025. However, the duly filled application form may also be submitted to the ADMISSION CELL, CIT, KOKRAJHAR by hand on or before the last date. Application forms received or submitted after the last date shall be rejected. The application form can be obtained from the selling centers by paying Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for SC/ST/PWD.

CITEE Syllabus 2025

CITEE CET Admit Card/ Hall Ticket 2025
Admit card was issued to the candidates who registered for CITEE 2025. The registered candidate can view and download the admit card for CITEE 2025 by entering the application form number and registered mobile number. The link to download the hall ticket was provided here. The CITEE Admit Card will carry details like the name of the candidate, roll number, date and time of the test and address of the exam center. The applicants must carry the CITEE hall ticket on the examination day. However, the Admit Card will not be sent to the candidates by Post/Email/SMS etc.

CITEE Result 2025
The result of CITEE 2025 exam will be available in the 2nd week of June 2025. The candidates who took the test can check their scorecard by visiting the official website. However, only those candidates will be able to download their result who filled the application form. In order to check the result of CITEE, the candidates must provide the required credentials. However, they must make sure that the information provided is valid. Otherwise, they will not be able to access the CITEE result. The candidates must subsequently also save & download the CITEE 2025 Result for future purposes. Students will be called for the counselling on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The CITEE Result will contain the marks obtained in the test.
CITEE Admission Selection Process 2025
The selection of aspiring candidates for admission shall be based on their performance in the Entrance Examinations. However, the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of Essential Educational Qualification and Age Limit. The selection will be based on merit separately for all regions and reservation categories. Candidates who fail to furnish the proofs for their claims in respect of reservation of seat pertaining to region and category will not be considered eligible for CITEE admission.
CITEE Merit list 2025
A single merit/ranking list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Entrance examination. The ranking for CITEE 2025 will depend on the total marks obtained in the entrance exam, then in the order of individual marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, in cases whereby the total marks obtained are the same.
CITEE Admission Procedure 2025
A candidate may be admitted into the Diploma program of CIT in two ways. The candidate has to clear the CITEE 2025 entrance examination followed by counselling at CIT, Kokrajhar. The second way is to appear in Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2025 conducted by Director, State Council for Technical Education (SCTE), Guwahati, Assam. The candidates appearing in PAT are to attend CITEE counselling called by SCTE whereby their eligibility would be verified and their admission forwarded to CIT, Kokrajhar.
Admission of candidates in all the Polytechnics/Technological Institutions for the Academic Session 2025-2023 for them mentioned hereinafter will be made through CITEE counselling. The detailed information regarding the counselling dates of CITEE will be provided when it releases. The shortlisted candidates must report to the counselling venue which will be uploaded on the official website. At the time of certificate verification at helpline centers, candidates should produce the following original certificates in support of the qualification and reservations claimed in the application for verification.
- A printed copy of the CITEE 2025 Hall Ticket and application form.
- Mark sheet of the Qualifying class 10 Examination.
- Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificate).
- Community/ Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC/EBC/ Minority candidates. (if applicable)
- 2 recent colour passport size photograph.
- Physical fitness certificate from an Asst. Civil Surgeon.
- One set of Photocopies of all the above certificates.
CITEE Seat Reservation 2025
The government of Assam has reserved seats for the candidates belonging to the reservation category. Candidates have to mention their reservation category while filling the application form of CITEE 2025. Students claiming reservations are required to produce valid supporting documents in the prescribed format at the time of CITEE 2025 Counselling in order to avail the benefit of reserved seats.
