Assam Don Bosco University Admission Eligibility Criteria

The basic and mandatory eligibility criteria to take admission in any of the UG courses is a 10+2 pass with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Moreover, it is important for the candidates to fulfil the required eligibility criteria in order to participate in the admission.   • Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Passing Marks in Mathematics at +2 or Graduation Level.
  • Candidates have to appear an Entrance Test – Don Bosco University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DBUPGET) and a Personal Interview.
  • Candidates who have not yet obtained their Bachelor’s Degree can also apply for the admission. Such candidates will be offered a Provisional Admission until they furnish the evidence of fulfilling the eligibility criteria (mentioned above) within three months of the commencement of the program.
Master in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Provisional Admission – Applicants who have not yet obtained their Bachelor’s Degree may apply for admission.
  • Candidates having a certain period of full-time work experience after graduation are also eligible.
M.Tech
  • Graduation/Post-Graduation in the respective field of learning – (Engineering/Science) with CGPA OF 6.5 (10-Point Scale) or 60% in the aggregate in the qualifying exam.
MSW
  • Graduation in any stream with 50% aggregate marks.
  • Must be from Social Work, Psychology, Education, Sociology, Home-Science, Human Resource Management.
  • Provisional Admission – Applicants who have not yet received their Bachelor’s Degree can also apply for the Admission. Such candidates have to submit a Provisional Admission until they did not receive the Eligibility Conditions.
MSc (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics)
  • Must have Graduation in Science with 50% aggregate marks.
  • The compulsory subjects must be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Eligibility Criteria of Doctoral Program (Doctor of Philosophy)

  • The minimum qualifying marks is 55% or 6.0 CGPA on a scale of 10 for the Master’s Degree, M.Tech, or M.Phil in the concerned subject or an allied subject.
  • The University conducts the entrance test followed by an Interview.

ADBU Semester Eligibility Criteria

The university conducts the end semester after the completion of each Semester Program. However, to appear ADBU Final Semester Exam, the students must satisfy the eligibility condition, which are-

  • The students must have a minimum of 75% attendance
  • Also, the candidates must have registered and submitted the ADBU Exam Form.
  • No due payment must be present.

For Assam Don Bosco University Admission 2025, firstly one has to fill the ADBU Application Form 2025 within the deadline. Furthermore, one has to make sure that the information they provide must be valid. One can obtain a prospectus of the university from any of the campuses of the same. However, one has to pay an amount of Rs 600/- in order to do so.
