Army Institute of Law (AIL) is a law school in Mohali, Punjab, India. The institute is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, and is run by the Army Welfare Education Society. The institute has a moderately sized campus in Sector 68, Mohali. Candidates who wish to appear for AIL LET for BA LLB Programme 2018 should fill the application form which will be available online from the last week of May 2018. The official examination authority has not released the notification for the academic session 2018-19. The dates related to AILBA LLB LET 2018 has not released till date. However, the tentative dates for the AIL BA LLB Law Entrance Test 2018 have been provided based on the previous year data below

AIL LET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The official examination conducting authority of AIL BA LLB LET 2018 make a set of eligibility criteria for the candidates who want to take AIL Law Entrance Test 2018 for BA LLB Programme. The candidates who are willing to apply for the AIL BA LLB LET must fulfil all the criteria mentioned below to take the test.

1. | Academic Qualification | A candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination from either Panjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Punjabi University, Patiala, with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. |
Students who have studied 10+2 through open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for admission in Law Courses. | ||
The applicants appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 can also appear for AIL LET 2018 provisionally, with a condition that their candidature shall stand cancelled in case they do not pass the 10+2 March / April Exams 2018 with the required percentage of marks. | ||
Candidates passing the compartment papers of qualifying exam of 10 + 2 subsequently shall not be eligible for admission even if a seat is available. | ||
In case an applicant has passed a qualifying examination from a Board/University whose degree is not notified as equivalent by Punjabi University, Patiala, he/she will have to produce the eligibility certificate from Punjabi University, Patiala at the time of the interview, failing which his / her candidature shall not be considered. | ||
Candidates whose result declaration would be delayed should apply well in time to the concerned Board of examination to forward a confidential result directly to Principal, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab. The responsibility to ensure its timely dispatch will be that of the candidate. Delayed receipt of result shall render the candidate ineligible for admission. | ||
As per Punjabi University, Patiala, the students passing the qualifying exam of Bihar Education Board are not eligible to seek admission. |
AIL LET 2018 Application Form
The Army Institute of Law will invite application in online mode only for BA LLB 2018. The AIL LET 2018 Application Form has been released on 27th May 2018 (from 9 AM). Candidates must fill up the online application form online before 15th June 2018 (till 12 PM). The last date to apply for AIL LET 2018 with late fee is 18th June 2018 (till 12 PM). Candidates are advised to fill up the online application form of AIL LET 2018 only after checking the above-mentioned eligibility criteria.
To register for the offline entrance test, follow the steps given below:
Step 1:- Click on the AIL LET 2018 “Apply Now” link. It will redirect to the official website.
Step 2:- Read the instruction carefully and click on “Apply Now” option.
Step 3:- Create a “login ID” and “password” by registering yourself.
Step 4:- Fill in the application form by entering the personal details and academic qualification.
Step 5:- Upload scanned image of recent passport size photograph and signature.
Step 6:- Payment of application fee.
Step 7:- Download the application form and take the printout of the same for future use.
Application Fee Payment: The application fee payment of amount Rs.3000/- will have to be made by the candidate in online mode through debit/ credit cards or net banking.
AIL LET Exam pattern & syllabus
Exam pattern is the most significant part from the entrance test point of view. Candidates are advised to be well acquainted with the test pattern in order to make the preparation more effective. The paper shall have objective type questions of a standard expected of 10+2 students. Exam pattern gives an idea about the mode of exam, duration, subjects and marking scheme. AIL LET Admit Card 2018
The official examination authority will release the hall ticket tentatively in the fourth week of June 2018. Candidates who successfully applied online for AIL LET 2018, they can access their Hall Ticket in online mode by visiting the link given here and by entering the unique registration number (generated during application form filling). Hall Ticket contains the exam centre details, important guidelines and other details. The students should take the printout of admit card and carry the admit card on the day of examination.
AILLET Examination Center 2018
AIL Law Entrance Test will be held at 11 different centres across various cities. The exam centre available for the AIL LET 2018 is provided below. Applicants have to choose three options in the order of preference for Entrance test centre to be filled in the application cum admission form. Test centre once opted shall not be changed.

AILLET Result 2018
The AILLET Result 2018 Exam will be available in the second week of July 2018. Candidates who took the test can check their scorecard by visiting the official website. The result will contain the marks obtained by the applicants in the AIL BA LLB LET 2018. Students will be called for the counselling on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The result will contain the marks obtained in the test.
AILLET 2018 Merit list
After the declaration of result of Law Entrance Test 2018, first 100 candidates in order of merit of Army Category will be called to fill up 60 seats and 20 candidates in order of merit of All India Civil Category will be called for Counseling to fill 4 seats A single merit/ranking list would be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Entrance examination. The ranking for AIL LET 2018 will depend on the total marks obtained in the Entrance exam, then in the order of individual marks obtained in subject combination in cases whereby the total marks obtained is same.
AILLET BA LLB 2018 Admission Procedure
- Admission to 60 seats for wards of army personnel will be done through entrance test conducted by AIL under the aegis of AWES.
- Admission to 04 seats in the All India Category will also through the same entrance test.
- Candidates for both Army and All India Category will be called for counselling as per merit in the written exam. Admission will be granted only if the candidate is found eligible on the day of counselling.
- Admission to 16 seats in the Punjab Category will be based on 10+2 merits, drawn up by the nominated university as per the notification issued by Govt. of Punjab.
AIL LET 2018 Counselling
Admission of candidates in BA LLB programme for the Academic Session 2018-19 for them mentioned hereinafter will be made through counselling. The detailed information regarding the counselling schedule will be provided when it releases. The shortlisted candidates must report to the institute which will be uploaded on the official website. At the time of certificate verification at helpline centres, candidates should produce the following original certificates in support of the qualification and reservations claimed in the application for verification.
- Matric (class 10) certificate giving details of Date of Birth.
- Class 12 pass Certificate with detailed marks.
- Character Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Category Certificate (download certificate from website)
- Medical Fitness Certificate (download certificate from website)
- Willingness Certificate (download certificate from website)
- An affidavit by Father/Mother/Guardian stating whether or not their ward has studied Punjabi at the Matriculation level. (in case the wards is above eighteen years of age the affidavit shall be signed by him/her).
- It is mandatory for students who have cleared their 10+2 Examination from Education Boards other than Punjab, Haryana, Himachal & CBSE/ICSE to produce an Eligibility Certificate at the time of admission.
- Passport size photographs (12) including the photos pasted on the Admission-cum application form.
- One Photograph of Parents, Family Members & Local Guardians.
- Affidavit/Certificate for Punjab Resident Civil Category (please Refer Appendix II at page iv)
