The results of AIBE will be displayed only the qualifying or non-qualifying status of the candidates in the exam. The qualifying candidates will be awarded “Certificate of Practice” by BCI indicating that the candidate is ready to practice law as a profession. AIBE 11
AIBE is the criteria to decide an advocate’s eligibility to practice law as a profession in India. One has to secure a minimum of 40% in the examination to qualify it. On qualifying the exam, Bar Council of India (BCI) shall award the candidates a “certificate of practice” which is mandatory to be a lawyer in India. AIBE is an open book exam and is conducted in 11 languages at 40 cities across India. Furthermore, it tests a candidate’s basic knowledge and analytical abilities of law. One should have a degree of LLB and must be enrolled in a State Bar Council as an advocate in order to appear for the exam.
