The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a prestigious examination, taken for admission to B.E and B.Tech courses offered by the 104 participating institutes. It is conducted by WBJEEB i.e. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. Every year approximately 3 lakh students take this test and thousands of them qualify it. Students of both West Bengal council of higher secondary education and central Indian school certificate board take this exam, although the exam is dominated by the former.

Updates For WBJEE 2018

The WBJEEB, Kolkata has recently released the latest notification regarding the WBJEE 2018 examination that will be conducted on 22nd  April 2018 (Sunday). The online Application Form of the same has been made available online from 19th January 2018. The Last date to download the confirmation page is from 26th January 2018 to 28th January 2018. Aspirants who wish to take the exam can read all exam related details given below. They must also keep checking the official WBJEE 2018 information brochure on its official website.

The latest information released on 20.11.2017 by WBJEEB regarding the WBJEE for the academic session 2018-19 is given below:

• The exam will be conducted in offline mode on 22^nd April 2018 i.e. Sunday.
• The online application forms have been made available on 19^th December 2017.
• The last date to fill the application form and remove discrepancies in the photograph and signature uploaded is 19th January 2018.
• The last dates to download the confirmation page are 26th January 2018 to 28th January 2018.
• Candidates will be able to access the admit card tentatively from 10^th April 2018 onwards.
• The results of the exam will be declared tentatively on 5^th June 2018.

WBJEE 2018 Exam Centres

There are 4 categories of institutes that participate in WBJEE. These are mainly state-funded universities, government technology and engineering colleges, private and self-funded universities and private and self-funded colleges. While filling up the WBJEE 2018 Application Form, candidates can choose an exam center from the list given below. WBJEEB attempts to allocate the examination center of a candidate at his/her 1st choice. The board will not entertain any requests for change in the change of exam centers after the allotment is made final under any circumstances.
