BHU LLB/ BA LLB (Hons) Law Entrance Exam 2018 Result

The BHU LLB/ BA LLB (Hons) Entrance Exam 2018 result has announced on 16th June 2018 at the official website. The candidates who appeared in the test can access the result by entering the roll number. Based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the test, the official authority determines the cut-offs and prepares a merit list. The result or scorecard contains the marks obtained in the entrance test.

BHU Law Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

The admission into BHU LLB/ BA LLB (Hons) for the academic session 2018 will be granted only if the applicant possesses the below-mentioned eligibility criteria and qualify the entrance exam. However, the interested candidate also has to fill up the application form to attend the entrance exam. 2.Academic Qualification
  • Candidates should have B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ Shastri (at least 10+2+3 pattern) securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet OR any other Degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of admission to LL.B. Course securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years (aggregate is calculated as mentioned above).
  • NOTE 1: As per directive of the Bar Council of India, the candidates who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/Post-graduation through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses.
  • NOTE 2: The candidates appearing in final year examination of their qualifying degree can also apply for BHU Law Entrance Exam 2018, provided the mark-sheets and pass certificates are available at the time of admission.
BA LLB (Hons)
1.Age criteriaThe candidates should not be more than 20 years on 1st July 2018 (applicant should be born on or after 1st July of 1998) for General Category applicants and 22 years on 1st July 2018 in case of applicants from SC/ST and Backward Communities (applicant should be born on or after 1st July of 1996).
 2.Academic qualificationThe applicant who have passed/ appearing 10+2 qualifying examination from recognised university are eligible to apply. Those who have passed class 12 from open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course. Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants, 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicant

The questions shall be based on General Awareness and Common Legal Knowledge, Current Affairs, Aptitude and Mental Ability. The Paper will also include two sets of multiple choice questions on Language comprehension, one each in Hindi and English, where the candidate is required to answer either the Hindi language set or the English language set but not both.

BHU LLB/ BA LLB (Hons) Answer Key

After conducting the BHU LLB/ BA LLB (Hons) Law Entrance Exam 2018, the official examination conducting authority releases the answer key within 10-15 days. The answer key is the sheet that contains all the correct answers to questions asked in the exam. Students who attended the test can check and analyse their score by matching their response to a particular question with the answer key.

BHU BA LLB (H)/ LLB 2018 Merit List

Merit List contains the names of the shortlisted candidates eligible for admission to the BH University. The official examination authority publishes the Merit List soon after the result declaration. Applicants can view and download the merit list online at the official website of BHU. Merit List is prepared considering the marks obtained, seat availability in a particular branch and number of applicants.

Counselling and seat allotment process
