LNMIIT stands for Laxmi Narayan Mittal Institute of Information Technology. It is one of the prestigious Universities in India which is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This Institute offers the undergraduate course in engineering. Aspiring candidates may note that the online application form for LNMIIT 2018 had been released on 5th February 2018 for B. Tech programme on the official website i.e. https://www.lnmiit.ac.in. Eligibility Criteria For LNMIIT 2018 Admissions
The eligibility criteria are the parameters set by the admission conducting authority. These criteria are based on age, education qualification, pass percentage, etc. In order to participate in the admission procedure, candidates have to fulfill all the conditions of the eligibility criteria. If ineligible candidates fill the application form and apply for the admissions, their applications will automatically be held rejected and candidature will be canceled.

Through JEE Main score
- Candidate must have taken the JEE Main exam conducted by the CBSE.
- Candidate should have qualified class 12th examination with at least 60% aggregate in Physics, , and Mathematics.
- Candidate should have obtained at least 60% aggregate marks in 10th class.
For Board Toppers
- Candidate should have secured first or second rank in state or central board exam.
- Candidate should be in Top 10 of Rajasthan Board’s Merit List.
DASA Mode
- Candidates should be a foreign national, NRI or a PIO card holder.
- He/she should have passed the qualifying examination from any country (including India)
- In case of an Indian National studying abroad, the candidate must have studied class 10th and 12th from other country.
LNMIIT 2018 Application Form
The application form of LNMIIT 2018 had been released on 6th February 2018. All the applicants had to go through the eligibility criteria and only then fill the application form. Candidates had to first register themselves using a valid email ID and a working mobile number. Applicants then received a login id and password. The next step was to fill the application form and provide details like personal and academic details and provide particulars of the mode through which the candidate waas applying.
The application fee payment could be made in either the online mode or offline mode. Those applying for LNMIIT 2018 admissions through JEE Main or through direct admissions for board toppers, had to pay an amount of Rs 1600 through either net banking or credit card/debit card or through demand draft. Those applying through DASA had to pay the application fee through swift transfer or demand draft. The Demand draft had to be drawn in favor of “The LNM Institute of Information Technology ” payable at Jaipur. They had to pay an amount of US $100 as the application fee.
Candidates who were paying the application fees through demand draft must also send the filled up application form along with the DD to “The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Rupa ki Nangal, Post-Sumel, Via-Jamdoli, Jaipur-302031, (Rajasthan) India”.
Candidates must write their name, application ID, mobile no. and email-id behind the demand draft and send it to LNMIIT by speed post or registered post only.
Selection Procedure and Counselling of LNMIIT 2018
LNMIIT will prepare a merit list for the candidates who have applied for the admission procedure. The merit list will be prepared based on the JEE Main score of the candidate and the branch that he/ she has preferred to take admission in. LNMIIT will release the first list of seats allotted. Since the admission to the institute is through different channels, the counselling procedure will also differ. For Indian candidates, the admission will be through the merit list released by the concerned authority. All the eligible candidates will be required to appear in person for counselling and seat allotment procedure. They will then be asked to report to the institute with the required documents for verification. Other admission formalities like paying the tuition fees will also be completed at the time of reporting to the institution.
List of Documents to be carried for Verification:
- Class 10th and 12th certificate
- Mark sheet of class 10th and 12th
- Character certificate of the candidate
- JEE Main 2018 score card
- Transfer certificate
- Score card of SAT of those candidates who are applying through DASA.
Those candidates who do not report to the institution or whose documents are found invalid will not be given admission. The failure to pay the fees of LNMIIT, Jaipur will also lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
