IIT JAM Counselling 2025: The counselling session of IIT JAM will be conducted in April 2025. The candidates, who will qualify for the examination will have to attend the counselling session of IIT JAM 2025. If he/ she does not attend the IIT JAM counselling session, then one will not be able to take admission in the aspired course. The authority will select the candidates for the JAM 2025 counselling as per the ones who qualify for the merit list. Candidates, whose names are there on the merit list will be eligible to attend the counselling session. After that, the authority has conducted the counselling of IIT JAM, the candidates will be provided admissions as per the prescribed admission procedure. The admission procedure will be conducted in an online mode only.

IIT JAM Counselling Dates 2025

The candidates, who have qualified the merit list will be considered eligible to attend the counselling session. One must be aware of the important dates of the counselling. The authority has released the official dates. Find the same in the table below:

Know More about JAM 2025 Counselling

One, who qualify for the examination will have to fill an online application form. Submitting the application form will be mandatory in order to attend the counselling session. In the application form, one will have to provide certain details, i.e, preferences of the studying centre as per the aspired subject. The candidates will be provided admission as per the admission list declared by the authority. The authority will release 3 admission lists. One, who has been provided seats through the counselling session will have to log in through their registered id. After one login, he/ she will have to select one of the three options. The options will be Accept and Freeze’, ‘Accept with Upgrade’ and Reject and Quit’.

One, who select the option of ‘Accept and Freeze’ or ‘Accept with Upgrade’ will have to pay the ‘Seat Booking Fee’. The Seat Booking Fee has to be paid through online payment modes using Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking. In case if the candidate chooses to withdraw, then an amount of Rs. 1000 will be deducted from their Seat Booking Fee and the final amount will be refunded. If one does not accept the seat that they are offered, then he/ she will not be considered for admission. One, who has qualified whole admission procedure and has accepted the seats offered must make sure they report at the allotted IIT along with all the documents required to be submitted at the time of admission.

IIT JAM Admission Form 2025

The admission form of IIT JAM will be released in an online mode only. One, who qualify for the examination will have to submit the JAM 2025 admission form. The candidates will have to choose the programmes as per his/ her preference. One will be provided admission on the basis of the same. The candidate has to make sure that he/she is filling are correct. If he/she provides any incorrect detail, then he/she will be facing problems in the future. One has to pay a certain amount of fee along with the application form. The fee payment is mandatory.
