Mike Rowe Work Scholarship 2025
Back in 2008, Mike wanted to find a way to articulate the qualities he values most. He ended up writing The S.W.E.A.T. Pledge, which stands for “Skills and Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo.” It’s a collection of beliefs that outlines the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude that we believe every worker can benefit from embracing. Full disclosure—it’s not for everyone, and that’s okay with us. But anyone who applies for the Work Ethic Scholarship Program must agree with and sign it.
The mikeroweWORKS Foundation and Midwest Technical Institute are pleased to announce the creation of the MRW/ MTI Scholarship Program for high school seniors. The Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation (MRW) and Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) have partnered to offer Mike Rowe scholarships at each of MTI’s seven campuses throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta region (where MTI does business as Delta Technical College). MTI will offer a total of49 full-tuition paid Mike Rowe scholarships, with a collective value of approximately $800,000, across its seven campuses.

Applicants to the Mike Rowe Scholarship 2025 Foundation Work Ethic Mike Rowe Scholarship Program must be:
- High school seniors, graduates, or GED equivalent who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited two-year college, vocational, technical school, or other approved technical institute in the United States.
- Enrolled or planning to enroll in an approved vocational or similar trade-related program. You can see a list of approved programs.
- Planning to complete a trade-related program after December 1, 2025.
- Past recipients of a Mike Rowe Scholarship Foundation Educational Scholarships are not eligible to apply mike Rowe sweat pledge.

- Write an essay.
- Send at least 2 references from bosses/teachers.
- Make a short video.

- Submit financial info.

Mike Rowe Scholarship 2025 Award Amount
- In total, they have scrounged up more than $400,000 for this latest program.
- If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a one-time award. Awards are only for the school tuition cost at an approved vocational or similar trade-related program.
- The number and amounts of the awards will be determined by the Mike Rowe works Foundation. There is no maximum on the amount of an individual award, and all award amounts are subject to confirmation by the school of the award recipient’s program cost.
Mike Rowe Foundation Scholarship 2025 Application Last Date
The application had to be submitted by May 1st, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. (Central Standard Time). Only the first 150 Mike Rowe Scholarship applications are processed.
