Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan had released the application form for SAAT 2018 online at the official website. The interested candidate could fill up the application form until 10th April 2018, however, the entrance examination was conducted from 20th to 30th April 2018. Admission to all the courses except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental in Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University will be only through SAAT 2018. Admission to MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental programmes will be done through marks and rank obtained in NEET 2018 Examination.

SAAT Counselling 2018
The SAAT Counselling 2018 was conducted from 7th May to 9th May 2018. The counselling schedule and venue had been announced by the official admission authority. The information regarding the same has been provided below. After the publication of Merit List of SAAT 2018 Examination, the official authority conducted the counselling procedure. Counselling procedure for SAAT 2018 was conducted via online mode. Shortlisted applicants were required to enter the choice of their course. The candidates were called for counselling according to the ranks obtained in the merit list. Document verification was done at the time of reporting at the Institute.

To take SAAT 2018 Examination, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the official authority. The official authority of SAAT had announced date of release of admit card for SAAT 2018. The Admit Card or Hall Ticket was scheduled to be released on 15th April onwards, however. Seat Reservation of SAAT 2018
The official authority of SAAT 2018 examination reserves a certain percentage of the total number of seats for the special category candidates. Special category candidates here refers to Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Physically challenged(PC). Candidates have to mention their category while filling up the application form to avail the benefit of seat reservation. Candidates must have valid document/certificates to support their claiming category for seat reservation. Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates are only eligible for marks relaxation.

Result of SAAT 2018
After the SAAT 2018 Entrance Examination was conducted, the official authority had declared the result. The candidates who had appeared in the examination could view and download the result by visiting the official website from 1st week of May 2018 onwards. Cut-off for SAAT 2018
The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks that an applicant must score in order to be eligible for the subsequent rounds. Cut-off mark is determined by the official authority considering various factors. The official authority will release the cut-off marks for SAAT 2018 Examination soon after the declaration of result. Merit List of SAAT 2018
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the SAAT 2018 Entrance Examination, the official authority prepares the merit list. Merit list contains the name of the shortlisted candidates eligible for counselling. Applicants having a higher rank in the merit list are called first for counselling. The Merit list was released for different courses separately. Candidates could check and download the merit list by visiting the official website.
Seat Allotment of SAAT 2018
Candidates who have participated in the online counselling for have been allotted seats based on their SAAT 2018 rank, choice of courses and the availability of seats in that in that particular course. Candidates were issued the provisional seat allotment letter on the official website. They were required to download the letter and attend the University to complete their document verification and pay the academic fees to confirm their admissions.
