Eligibility Criteria for GUJCET 2018
Aspirants who are willing to apply for the GUJCET exam for the academic session 2018 must fulfill all the eligibility conditions issued by the authority. If the Candidates do not satisfy the eligibility conditions, then they will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
So, applicants must check the GUJCET 2018 eligibility criteria and norms once before the online application submission. Following table contains the main eligibility criteria related to age, citizenship, qualifying examination, qualifying marks, domicile, subject combination, the category for admission to Engineering Degree/Diploma & Pharmacy courses.

2 | Domicile | Candidates need to be of Gujarat domicile to apply for the GUJCET 2018 examination. If the candidates are living in some other state but are bona fide residents of Gujarat, then he/she will be eligible for admission. The candidates will be eligible for admission if his/her parents are of Gujarat origin and are serving out of the state in the service of central government or other state government, armed forces, boards or co-operations owned by the central state or any nationalized bank. |
3 | Nationality | Candidates must be a citizen of India to apply for the examination. Candidate should be a resident of Gujarat. Those candidates who stay outside Gujarat for certain purposes, but are actually residents of Gujarat are also eligible. |
4 | Academic Qualification | Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized board. Applicant who will be appearing for 10+2 Examination (Science Stream) in 2018 can also apply for GUJCET 2018. They must have passed 10+2 examination (Science Stream) with a minimum of 45% marks (general category) and 40% (ST/SC/OBC categories). |
Eligibility Criteria for Reserved Category to appear in GUJCET 2018 exam
The official examination authority of GUJCET reserves a definite number of seats in participating institute/colleges for the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Reserved category here refers to candidates belonging to the scheduled tribe, scheduled caste, other backward class etc.
Applicants have to mention their reservation category while filling the application form of GUJCET 2018. Students claiming reservation are required to produce valid documents/certificates in the prescribed format at the time of counselling in order to avail the benefit of GUJCET reserved seats.
