The KVPY 2025 interview selection procedure is based on the aptitude test and KVPY interview managed by the IISc. The Advertisement for KVPY appears in all the National Dailies on Technology Day (May 11) and the second Sunday of July every year. The results of the KVPY 2020 Aptitude Test have been announced on 16th March 2025 and the interview for eligible candidates will be held tentatively in March/April 2025.
The exam (in the form of an aptitude test)for the KVPY fellowship programme is conducted every year in the month of November and the interview of KVPY for the same is held in between March/April. The Answer keys of the same will be released on the official website i.e. www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in within 15-20 days of aptitude test. The results of KVPY 2025 had been published in the 1st week of December 2025.

KVPY Interview Selection Procedure 2025
All candidates who qualify for the examination and are shortlisted based on their performance in the exam will be called for the selection procedure commonly known as the interview round. The performance of the candidates will be the sole basis for selection. The KVPY interview round will be held tentatively in the 3rd week of January 2020. During the interview, the candidate’s knowledge of science and research will be cross-checked. After the KVPY interview has been conducted, the final list of selected candidates will be released by the Indian Institute of Science.
The information for the KVPY interview like timings, venue, and date will be sent to the candidate through the mail on his/her registered email id. Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a print of the interview call letter that has to be mandatorily carried to the interview venue.
