For any candidate to be eligible for admission, he/she has to obtain the prescribed marks released by the Board/University. This is done with the release of the cut-off which is prepared to set a benchmark of how much percentage of marks a candidate must have scored in 10+2 qualifying examination to be eligible for counselling. The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks, required to be eligible for admission. Sometimes it also refers to the opening and the closing rank. TNEA 2018 Cut-Off will be published online on the official website where candidates will have to enter the community code, district, college name, and branch. Candidates who have scored equal to or more than the cut-off will be called for counselling.
