The Admission Council of Telanagana University invites application form for admission into the various courses, each academic year. Therefore, the interested candidates who wish to pursue any course from TU must apply for Telangana University Nizamabad Admissions and fill the application form. The admission council selects the candidates by conducting a common entrance exam. The Telangana University Common Entrance Test (TUCET) is conducted to test the aptitude of the candidates. Telangana University offers various PG and Ph.D. courses every year. The Admission Council decides the minimum eligibility criteria for Telangana University PG Admissions each academic year. Therefore, the applicants must carefully read the eligibility criteria for various courses before filling the application form. All the admissions will be done as per the performance of the candidates in the TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test. The University strictly follows the rule of reservation as per the government norms and ensures strict adherence to the reservations into various categories.

UG Admissions Eligibility Criteria

• Students who have passed their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination / Higher Secondary Certificate Examination / Intermediate Examination, Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State (BIETS), or any equivalent recognized examination from other Boards / States, are eligible to apply for the UG courses.
• The Students who have passed the intermediate Vocational in Medical Lab Technology Course from the Board of Intermediate Education, AP are eligible for admissions into B.A/ B.Com courses.
• Students, who want to pursue B.Sc., should have passed the exam related to subjects like Physical Science and Mathematics or Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences with a minimum of 40% marks.
• 60% of seats are reserved for B.Com and 50% seats for B.A courses in any college who have cleared the exam.

TU Application Form 2024

Application Form is the basic requirement for taking admission in any university. The university offers UG, PG, Diploma/ Degree courses in various subjects. Therefore the students must fill the application form for the course in which they want to pursue the degree. The admission council will not accept application form in any other mode. Candidates need to submit the application form along with the applicable fees before the final date of closing of the forms.

How To Fill the TU Online Application Form?

In order to fill the online Application Form, the candidates must read all the instructions very carefully. After reading all the instructions, the candidates can start filling the application form. They must fill all the details very carefully, especially the Name of the Candidate and Date of Birth. • Candidates have to fill the details like Name, Email Id and Phone Number to complete the process of Registration.
• After Registration, candidates have to select the Course for which they are applying. Then they need to pay the applicable fees for the application form.
• After Fee Payment, the next step is to fill the Application Form.
• Candidates must enter the Personal and Academic Details in the appropriate columns.
• After entering all the details correctly, they can “Preview Form” and check if all the details are mentioned correctly.
• Furthermore, the applicants have to select the option “Upload Photograph and Signature”. Please note that the Dimension and other details of the photo and signature are given in the instructions.
• Upload the scanned copies of photo and signature in the required format and dimension.
• Finally, click on the “Submit” button and save the application form. Applicants must save a copy of the application form for future reference.

Telangana University Admissions 2024 Reservation Policy

The university strictly follows the rule of reservation as per the government norms and ensures strict adherence to the reservations to various categories. In every course of study, 85% of the available seats are reserved in favor of the local candidates from the districts of Nizamabad and Adilabad. The reservation, however, does not apply to any course of study in which the total number of available seats does not exceed three. While determining the number of seats reserved in favor of local candidates, any fraction of a seat is counted in favor of local candidates provided there is at least one unreserved seat for which locals and non-locals compete.

The remaining 15% of unreserved seats can be competed by the categories mentioned below:

• All candidates defined as “locals” of Osmania University area
• All candidates, who are locals for Andhra University, Sri Venkateswara University, areas.
• Candidates who have resided in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a total period of ten years, excluding periods of study outside the state.
• Candidates who are spouses/children of those in the employment of the State or Central Government.

Telangana University Hall Ticket 2024

The Examination Branch conducts the semester and entrance exams for Telangana University Admission 2024. The students who are appearing in the entrance or semester exam must download the Telangana University Hall Ticket from the official website of the university. Admit card is an important document to appear in any examination. Therefore the applicants must necessarily carry a valid hall ticket with them on the day of the exam.

Without a valid copy of the hall ticket, no candidate can enter the examination venue. The admit cards for the semester exams are released a week before the beginning of the papers. The entrance exam hall tickets are released one month before the entrance test. Candidates must note that the admit card is available only in online mode. The Academic Council conducts a written entrance test called TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test (Conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad). This test is for selecting candidates for the Telangana University Ph.D. Admissions as well as also for PG courses. Therefore, the aspirants who wish to pursue any higher-level degree courses must appear in the entrance test. Also, the Academic Council conducts the semester/annual exam at the end of each academic year. Telangana University Result

The Controller of Examination releases the Telangana University Results 2024 after the completion of the examination. The candidates who have applied for the Telangana University PG Admissions can check their results online from the official website. The results of the entrance tests are available on the website of the Exam Branch. However, the results of the semester/annual exams are available online as well as on the notice boards of various constituent colleges. After downloading the results, the students must carefully check all the details given in the scorecard. If there is any discrepancy found in the marks sheet then the candidate must immediately contact the Exam Branch. After the declaration of the Entrance Exam Results, the eligible candidates can go for the counselling round.

Counselling is the final step in the process of admission. The Admission Council conducts the counselling for admissions in Telangana University. Counselling involves the verification of original documents of the candidates. Admission is given only if all the documents are authentic and original.
