NRTI Admission 2025 will start in the month of June 2025. The National Road and Transport Institute is the first University in India that focuses on transport-related Education. The Institute offers both Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Courses to the candidates. All the Course Programs comply with the AICTE and UGC Guidelines. The Selection of the candidates will be based on the Entrance Test (for NRTI M.Sc), and other All India Entrance Exam Scores. Their NRTI Academic Structure is consists of two courses. The courses are B.Sc in Transportation Technology and BBA in Transportation Management.

NRTI Admission 2025 Dates

The National Rail and Transport Institute will release the dates on its official website-nrti.edu.in. Candidates can check the tentative dates below. We will update the dates once it is announced.

Eligibility Criteria of NRTI Admission 2025-23

This criterion is the most important factor in the admission process. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be eligible to proceed further. However, the eligibility conditions are different for each course. So, here you can check out the UG and PG Eligibility Criteria.

NRTI Undergraduate Courses

• Applicants must have completed their 10+2 Board Examination with a minimum passing mark of 55%. However, the passing marks for OBC/ SC/ ST Candidates are 50%.
• The Age of the candidate should be below the age of 25 Years as of 1st August 2025.

Postgraduate Eligibility Criteria of NRTI Admission

NRTI Application Form 2025

The application form of NRTI UG and PG Courses will release along with the notification. The Mode of filling the form is online. Candidates who are eligible can fill the NRTI Application Form and submit it within the due date. One will have to fill in mandatory details in the application form. While filling the same, the candidate must make sure that he/ she is filling in all the correct details. This is to be noted that the applicant will have to upload mandatory documents. While doing the same, the candidate must be sure regarding the size of the documents. Post the upload of the documents, the candidates will have to pay the fee. Without the fee, the application form will not be submitted.

Application Fees

The Cost of the application fees is Rs 500/- for General, EWC, and OBC Category, and Rs 250/- for SC, ST, and PWD Candidates. The Application Form without fees is incomplete.

NRTI Admission Entrance Test

The Entrance Exam usually takes place in the month of August or September. The Institute conducts the entrance test across the nation with around 25 Exam Centers.

Selection Process of NRTI Admission 2025

• The Selection of the candidates is done based on the Entrance Test conducted across the Nation.
• The Selection of BBA and B.Sc Courses will be based on the NRTI Entrance Test Scores.
• For B. Tech Programs, the selection will be based on JEE Mains Scores.
• Applicants for M.Sc Programs will be shortlisted on the basis of the NRTI PG Entrance Test followed by an Interview.
• Applicants to the MBA programs who have valid CAT, XAT, or MAT Scores may be exempted from the PG entrance test. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the NRTI PG Entrance Test or CAT/XAT/MAT Scores followed by an Interview.

Reservation of the Candidates

The NRTI follows the Government of India Regulations with respect to SC/ST/OBC/EWS Reservations. Supernumerary Seats will also be considered for PWD, Kashmiri Migrants, and Ex-Servicemen.

NRTI Exam Pattern- Marking Scheme, Sections

The Examination Pattern of the National Rail and Transportation Institute Entrance Test are as follows-

• The Mode of the Exam is Online.
• A total of 100 MCQs will be asked in the exam.
• The Exam Duration is 90 Minutes.
• The Question Paper is divided into four sections and the marks are divided accordingly.
• Each Question carries 1 mark. There is a negative marking of 0.33 marks for an incorrect answer.

Syllabus of National Rail and Transport Institute

National Road and Transport Institute conducts the entrance exam for the selection of the students. Since there are only 105 seats for both courses, it makes the competition much tougher. Students have to prepare accordingly. The NRTI Entrance Test Syllabus 2025 will be available online. One can easily check the syllabus from there. However, there are mainly four sections. Students need to prepare themselves for the four sections. The four sections are English, reasoning, numerical, and general awareness. The syllabus enhances the student’s about the exam and the ability to understand the thing. There are sections and subsections as per the subject. Just like the other competitive exam, it also has a kind of syllabus.

The NRTI Syllabus includes the topics from English Language, Reasoning, and General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.

NRTI 2025 Admit Card

The National Rail and Transportation Institute will release the Entrance Hall Ticket a week before the Entrance Test. Candidates whose application form has been submitted successfully will be able to download the NRTI Hall Ticket. To download the admit card, the candidate has to submit their User ID and Password details. The Entrance Admit Card will be available on its official website- nrti.edu.in.

NRTI Result 2025

The Institute declares the Result soon after the completion of the entrance test. To check your NRTI Result and Merit List, visit the official website. Candidates who are shortlisted in the entrance test will have to appear in the Interview Round which is the final selection process. The NRTI Personal Interview Round will either take place online or offline depending on the COVID-19 Situation.

NRTI Merit List 2025

The National Rail and Transport Institute will publish the Provisional Rank List/Merit List soon after the release of JEE Mains Score 2025. The Merit List is prepared based on the JEE Main percentile score. The Institute also releases the Merit List for B.A, B.Sc Admission Test, and MBA Admission List. The list contains the shortlisted candidate’s list for the further selection process.

The Counselling Procedure starts soon after the release of the merit list. The details of the NRTI Counselling will be available on the official website. It takes place on the NRTI campus, Vadodara. It is mandatory to attend the counselling for the shortlisted candidates. There are certain things that students need to carry. All the documents must have the original as well as the photocopy.
