NEET PG Syllabus 2025: NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum ranking examination for admission to various MD/ MS and PG Diploma courses. This is the ONLY entrance exam for admission to Postgraduate medical courses. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the NEET PG entrance exam. The NBE has postponed NEET PG 2025 Exam. The exam was supposed to take place on 18th April 2025 for admission in various PG courses. The NEET PG Syllabus 2025 shall comprise subjects/ knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Government of India.

NEET PG Syllabus 2025
Before preparing for the exam, it is very important to know about the NEET PG 2025 exam pattern. The exam shall be in an online computer-based mode. The question paper consists of 300 Multiple Choice Questions. However, the total time allotted is 3 hrs 30 minutes. Also, the question paper is divided into 3 parts. Like Part A, B, and C and each containing 50, 100, and 150 MCQ’s respectively. To clarify, there is a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. However, unattempted questions do not carry any negative marks.

Subject-wise Distribution of Questions for NEET PG 2025
NBE conducts the NEET PG entrance exam. And, the question paper follows the syllabus prescribed by MCI. Also, there is a subject-wise distribution of questions in the NEET PG Entrance exam. Therefore the aspirants must follow the syllabus pattern. In addition, they should be aware of the most important topics for the exam. In order to score well in NEET 2025 PG exam, they should focus more on important topics. However, the exam pattern is changed, and now the no. of Questions has been reduced to 200 from 300. After having knowledge about the marks distribution, it is now time to know about the detailed syllabus topics. For instance, one should know about the topics from the MBBS syllabus.
