The one-time NEET 2018 Application Form Correction facility is available for NEET 2018 Exam. According to the latest notification, the applicants can make the correction in the application form from 15th March to 17th March 2018. NEET 2018 Updates

NEET UG 2018 Application Form correction has been started once again on 15th May 2018 onwards and will be open until 18th May 2018 (5 PM). Registered candidates can correct/edit their date of birth, category and status of person with disability in the application form by clicking on the link given below. The NEET 2018 registered candidates who have committed mistakes while filling up the application form can make the correction in the following fields within scheduled date and time:

  • Candidates, those who filled up the application with IDs other than Aadhaar Card, i.e. Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number & Aadhaar Enrollment Number will be able to add their Aadhaar Number or the Aadhaar Enrollment Number.

Who cannot make changes?

  • Candidates who already filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card & candidates with nationality as Foreigner, OCIs, PCIs and NRIs.
2.Date of BirthWho can make changes?

  • Candidates, those who filled up the application form with IDs other than Aadhaar Card, i.e. Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number & Aadhaar Enrollment Number will be able to make the correction in their Date of Birth.

Who cannot make changes?

  • Candidates who already fill the application with Aadhaar Card. They are not eligible to make the correction in DOB as their details are similar to Aadhar.
3.GenderWho can make changes?

  • Candidates, those fill the form with other IDs than Aadhaar Card, i.e. Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number & Aadhaar Enrollment Number will be able to make the correction in their Gender.

Who cannot make changes?

  • Candidates who already filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card. They cannot make the correction in Gender as their details are similar to Aadhar.
4.State code of EligibilityAll Candidates can make the correction in State Codes of Eligibility.

  • Candidates, those belong to J & K state can make changes in the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.
  • Candidates who belong to Assam, Meghalaya & Jammu and Kashmir will be able to make changes in their state code of eligibility (other than these 3 states). They can make changes only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar enrollment number as the exemption from Aadhar is available only to the candidates of Assam, Meghalaya & Jammu and Kashmir
  • NOTE: Candidates may note that the rules which are state specific such as permissible identity type, self-declaration, question paper medium, & choices of centers, etc will be applicable by changing the state of eligibility. Candidates will have to fill up information in the effected field afresh very carefully. The candidates are advised to go through the information bulletin once again to have a clear understanding of the concerned rules.
5.Disability StatusAll the registered candidates can make the correction.

NOTE: However, wherever change in disability status involves the higher fee, candidates will have to pay the difference in the fee also. Payment of fee will be an online process and change will take place only if the difference of fee is paid within the stipulated time.

6.Category
  • All candidates can make changes in the category. Candidates should fill category only as per the central list of category.
  • However, wherever change in category involves the higher fee, candidates will have to pay the difference in the fee also. Payment of fee will be an online process and change will take place only if the difference of fee is paid within the stipulated time.
7.Examination CenterAll candidates can make changes in the Examination Center.
8.Medium of Question Paper
  • All candidates can make changes in the medium of question paper.
  • NOTE: However, if the medium is changed into regional languages, candidates may need to change the center city also.
9.Qualifying Examination code, Percentage of marks obtained in class 12. All the candidates can make correction.
 10.Father’s and Mother’s name All candidates can make the correction and interchange the name.
NOTE: The applicants are allowed to make the correction in the application form only once. After that, the details entered by them will be considered as final by the authority. So, candidates are requested to identify their mistakes carefully and make the required number of correction only once.

NEET 2018 Application Form Correction in the Uploaded Scanned Images

Candidates those have uploaded wrong Photograph and Signature, they do not have to worry. The information regarding the same will be intimated by CBSE via registered e-mail & SMS. Candidates will have to re-upload these documents by logging into the official website within given time frame. Generally, candidates have to re-upload the scanned images within 3 days from the date of email received regarding correction.

NOTE: If the candidates who have not received any email or SMS regarding the correction in the uploaded scanned images, then their images submitted has been accepted by the official authority.

NEET 2018 Application Form Correction Process

The NEET 2018 Applicants should follow the below-given steps to make the correction in the NEET 2018 Application Form:

  1. Visit the official website of NEET 2018: https://cbseneet.nic.in
  2. Visit “Candidates Login” link.
  3. Enter your registration number and password (generated during application form filling)
  4. Click on the link for correction.
  5. Now, make the necessary correction in the specific field.
  6. Finally, click on submit button.
  7. After submitting, candidates should take the printout of correction slip and retained the same for their reference and record. No correspondence thereafter will be entertained by the board in this regard.
