MHT CET Counselling 2019: The State Common Entrance Test cell will organize the MHT CET counselling 2019. Counselling will be held through CAP or Centralized Allotment Process. Candidates who have qualified the exam and met the cut off will be participating in counselling procedure of MHT CET 2019. Qualified students must know that the MHT CET counselling 2019 will be held online. CAP Seat Allotment 2019

The CAP seat allotment will be done to fill seats in the following categories:

  1. Maharashtra Candidature Seats.
  2. All India Candidature Seats.
  3. Minority Quota Seats
  4. Supernumerary Seats for Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature.

Procedure for MHT CET Counselling 2019

Know the procedure for MHT CET 2019 counselling in the steps given below:

Step 1: Registration

Candidates have to register themselves on the official website and submit various details like personal, Contact and security. The personal details are like name, Gender, father’s name, mother’s name, religion, region, mother tongue and an annual income of the family. Contact details like Address of the applicant, mobile number, E-mail Id. Students will be required to choose a password and save it for registration.

Step 2: Entering Details 

In this step, the candidate will be required to enter details like the category of their candidature. The category from which they must choose are listed here:

  1. OMS
  2. Maharashtra State Candidature (Type A/ B/ C/ D/ E)
  3. NRI
  4. PIO/ OCI
  5. CIWGC
  6. J&K Migrant
  7. Foreign Students
  8. GoI

Step 3: Uploading the Scanned Images 

In this step, candidates will be required to upload the scanned images in the correct specification. The specification for the images to be uploaded have been given here:

Step 4: Payment of Counselling Fee

After uploading the images, candidates will be required to pay the counselling fees. The  MHT CET counselling fee 2019 has to be paid in the online mode depending on the category that the candidate belongs to. Check the fee below:

Step 5: Submission of Application Form

Candidates must take a print out of the form and take it for document verification. This verification will be done at the facilitation centre.

Step 6: Reporting to AFCs (Admission Facilitation Centres)

Those Candidates who have successfully registered for the MHT CET counselling 2019 have to report to the Admission Facilitation Centres with all the documents listed below. Students must carry a set of original as well as a set of photocopied documents. The documents have been listed here:

  • Print out of MHT CET 2019 counselling registration form
  • Admit Card of MHT CET 2019
  • Result of MHT CET 2019
  • Passing Certificate and Mark Sheet of class X & XII
  • Migration Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Character Certificate
  • School Leaving Certificate

Step 7: Filling of Choices

In this step, candidates will be asked to fill in the choices of their college and course. These choices have to be filled in order of preference. All candidates will be allowed to enter a maximum number of choices. Candidates need to log in for choice filling and locking.

Step 8: Merit List Display

After the verification process, the provisional and then the final merit list will be displayed. The MHT CET Merit list will be displayed separately for all courses. All candidates listed under the merit list will then proceed for the further counselling process.

MHT CET 2019 Seat Allotment

The concerned authority of State common Entrance Test cell, Maharashtra will be conducting the seat allotment for candidates who have been listed under the merit list. The seat allotment procedure will take place in the online mode in 3 rounds. The seat allotment of MHT CET 2019 qualified candidates will be done through CAP (Centralized admission Procedure) rounds. Those who have been allotted a seat have to report to the Admission Reporting Centres (ARCs) and practice their options to freeze, float or slide for the seat.

Provisional Seat Allotment:

In the provisional Seat allotment of MHT CET 2019, seats will be allotted to candidates. On the basis of filled choices, merit list & availability of seats in colleges, the seat will be given to candidates.

Reporting to the Admission Reporting Center (ARC):

Students have to report to the ARC at the prescribed schedule. Here the candidate has to exercise the option for seat allotment. If candidates fail to appear at the prescribed schedule, their allotment will be rejected and they will not be able to participate in the further counselling round.

Freeze: Those satisfied with the allotted seat and don’t want to participate in the further rounds of counselling can choose this option.

Float: If the candidate wishes to upgrade the seat allotted to him/her, after accepting a higher seat preference, then he/she can choose float. In such a case, the previously allotted seat will be taken away and the new one will be allotted.

Slide: If the candidate feels like upgrading his seat within the same institute, then he/she can choose the slide option.

Reporting and confirmation of admission to the Allotted Instititon:

After completing all the steps mentioned above, students must report to the institution for final allotment and to confirm their admission. Candidates have to bring the required documents & fees as notified by the allotted college.
